To my knowledge, Floyd Mayweather Jr is a “retired” fighter. Dude isn’t an active fighter in the sport of boxing like a Terence Crawford or Canelo Alvarez. And not once, did Floyd Mayweather come out of retirement for any of the exhibitions bouts. None of the exhibitions were against real fighters. None of it were for a “world title” of any sort. On top of that, it was the “retired” fighter who hired GT. What does that mean? It means GT had the choice whether to accept the business side of training a retired fighter. It’s not up to me whether I accept what GT earned or not. GT is a grown man and it’s his responsibility to figure out all of the terms. Not mine. GT agreed to the terms before the exhibition. I didn’t agree on anything for GT, before or after. So if he’s complaining, after the fact, that’s on GT, because he agreed to the terms before training a retired fighter for a “non” real fight.
