I need to place my order 😁 Oh yes, I put my blending foam on the back of my ink pads. The older flat ones fit perfectly under the Distress Ink mini's. The domes stick out a little but I like them better. I'm going to make a binder with squares of Velcro & the ink brand/color to hold my dome applicators. I've seen a bunch of people do this on UA-cam. 🤣😂 Today, I had a folder break almost in 2 at the top. I decided it's time to bust out a new folder. I had that folder from the beginning!

Can you do a video on how you use the really narrow slimline die? Well they are not all. narrow...the ones in the center? I got diamond presses marked /gel pen/crayon kit with carrying case from hsn. It is so nice!! It goes well with this kit.

Thanks for the heads-up. I ordered the TS autoship with the rose gold marquis. I started having trouble with my gold marquis skipping sometimes (but my machine was used by middle schoolers so who knows what happened to it). I also got the refills during free shipping like you suggested. So glad I did because they are sold out of the black and white box option. I also bought some Anna Griffin ballroom slider and vignette card dies from the sale. Thank you so much for everything. Now to watch the rest of this video 😆

I just ordered the HSN DP TS , 3 DP Storage Boxes sets and 2 refills - thru your link- hope you get the credit !! It’s because of your reviews I purchased them 😉 👍 Odd though- got my order confirmation and HSN is charging me $14.95 for s&h ( $9.95 for full cart and $ 5.00 for the TS ??) I did call HSN and they said should be $9.95 and it will adjust automatically 😵💫 ANYWAYS - just wanted to give you a heads up on that AND they also said it would be a $9.95 S&H fee for each day .

Soooooooo like many I have multiple die cutting machines...and love my Empress. But I see you grab for your Marquis all the time. I'm really considering it. Do you like it because its just small and simple? Thoughts? Thanks!
Hi I’m sure Vianney will respond to you but thought I’d answer too since I have an Empress which I love. I agree the empress is easy and quiet but I still reach for the marquise or DP most frequently. It’s just such a smooth beautiful cut and almost everything falls out or is easily removed from the dies.

I've watched her use it for a year and now (?) and it seems to work great for her projects, and heck I have a bunch of DP folders from all my die sets anyway. With today's bundle I thought it would be great for quick cutting, and if nothing else I can give to my niece as she gets into crafting. Thanks so much for your insight!
I'm sure Vianney will also reply, but I wanted to say that I do love my Marquise because it is small and doesn't take up much space, so I leave it out. It also has good pressure for a small machine and can easily cut out intricate dies like fussy cover plates with a lot of detail. The folders look pretty ragged after a few use but you can still use them many times after that point by reversing the direction you put them in, flipping them over, and even opening them out and folding them the other way. I get a lot of use out of each folder and you get them with most Diamond Press die sets so I've got way more than I need right now. They really are especially nice for when you are doing just one die cut or if you have a bunch of tiny dies to cut. With just one die in the folder, you don't usually even have to use low tack tape to secure it. I really like not having to worry about some kind of sandwich. The only thing I'm not impressed with is using the Marquise for embossing--despite what some people say about using different tips/tricks I've still had some problems with the paper getting wrinkled and such, so I don't use the Marquise for embossing folders. I have too many larger machines: Empress Mini, Big Shot, Big Shot Plus, Tangerine, and Gemini. I wouldn't have bought the Big Shot plus if I'd known that I needed not only a larger platform but a lot more pressure for some dies, by the way--needed the Tangerine or the Gemini for that. I do still use all of those for dies that won't fit through the Marquise and for embossing. And I'd pick one of those to try if something didn't cut out well with the Marquise. But the Marquise usually just makes die cutting faster while taking up less space on my work surface.
@@DrMomT Thank you; such great insight! Vianney's group is the best :) I kinda got that impression about the embossing...but we have other machines if we really want a deep emboss so I like your idea of just leaving it out all the time for quick cutting. Thanks Dr. Mom!
Yes, basically that's why. It's so easy to just pop in the folder and crank. You know I have pretty much every machine, but I use the Marquise at least 97/98% of the time!! LOL! TYSM, Tracey!
