You are so amazing! My daughter wanted one of these lanterns from ikea and now we can make it ourselves. She will really enjoy being able to customize it to fit her room decor. Thank you!!
I ever only used my circuit's to make stickers or circles for buttons and I wanted to say I love that I found you. Now I am inspired to make a lantern and a giant baby yoda!
Ms. Jennifer...I just made my lighted star! I can't believe I did it. And do you know how? Your fantastic teaching skills are amazing!!!! I am so EXCITED!!!!
I love this idea you can make these stars for birthdays you can use the cut outs for shaker cards scrapbook even if you just made one flat star you can use it for a scrapbook layout this is just an amazing file thank you you're awesome
Thank you! I will be posting every day until Christmas so make sure to have the bell notification turned on so you don't miss one! Thank you for watching, Sandy! ❣️
You are an excellent teacher and your videos are so well made! Thank you for sharing. My daughter has a star themed room and I'm making one for her (and probably snowflake ones for gifts)! I'm glad looking for star themed projects led me to you!
Thank you once again for a detailed demonstration to another beautiful project. I made the snow flake star out of a file folder. I LOVE the way it came out. I'll send a pic soon.
Thank you! IKEA has these for Christmas, growing in Germany I miss seeing these in everyone’s windows but they aren’t for sale online. My husband and I will definitely be making these!!
These are great and so whimsical. I have such bad luck with lightbulbs never lasting, I think I'd try to close the last tabs with velcro so I could change the bulb.😊
I have a very strong feeling that my studio will be decorated exclusively with Jennifer Maker designs. I plan to use a lot of your giant flowers on the walls too. I don’t have a Cricut because I have Silhouette Cameo 3 & Cameo 4, but now I want a Maker. Having too many cutters can’t possibly be a thing, right? LOL
Jennifer Maker I’ve only seen well the one you made. The link to the instructions on your page comes up with an error message. I think I like the snowflakes best and plan to make a few for my Sunday School classroom. Thank you for sharing this beautiful pattern!
@@margaretball8835 Thank you so much for letting us know! We're getting that fixed asap! Here is the link to the tutorial: jennifermaker.com/make-paper-star-lanterns/
One question. Can you use a thin velcro strip on the last arm of the star so you can open it to replace/remove the bulb? Just wouldn't want to have to tear up the star to remove the light. I see the opportunity to make different holiday designs, using the basic shape of these. Can even make a shooting star by attaching the cut out stars to a clear sheet attached to the bottom (slightly curved). Another top notch project, Jennifer, with so many uses! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent.
That's such a GREAT idea Helen to use velcro! Agree! So many possibilities for these stars! A shooting star would be so cute! Thank YOU Helen you're pretty awesome yourself! ;-)
Thank you! Great suggestions! Keep an eye out...fabric tumblers coming soon! ;) We'd love for you to suggest the mica tumblers. Please do so here: jennifermaker.com/projectrequests/
Awesome. I decided to by myself a early Christmas present. Upgrading from the air 2 to the maker. Can wait to go back through your videos. Your awesome 😎
These lanterns are so Gorgeous, I have wanted to buy them on the past. I really want to make some of these for gifts and to decorate my craft room as I love stars :)
I just adore you! In fact, you are what made me decide to buy a Cricut! I don't know if I should hug you or curse you! Hee hee hee (don't worry..no cursing here!)!!! I LOVE this project! How great would it be with color changing fairy lights and a remote? I'm pretty sure that whatever design you do will cast the design onto walls. What a fun thing for a kiddo (and adults!)! They can change the color of the lights, set the timer and use it to fall asleep (or the parents can set the timer) or while they chill out in their rooms. I've always loved hanging stars and now I can make my own! Thank you again Ms. Maker!
That's awesome! You can get right to making them then 😌 Would you mind sharing your finished project with us in our Facebook group? I love seeing recreations of my projects! The link to the group is right in the description above!
