another mod i highly recommend is "enhanced boss bars" it literally just makes boss bars better/cooler. (its common for the mod to break, just reinstall it and it should fix)

Doctor Fetus + Ipecac has a 'hidden' synergy - you become immune to your own explosions (but not other explosions) - I guess the other explosions include the smaller bombs from parasite and haemolacria??
sry for the absurdly lengthy text if u dont wanna read all that at least i helped with the algorithm ^^ first thing first, are u gonna unlock the tainted character soon ? some of them are insanely op and t.judas starting item dark art is rly fun to use n rly strong too. also i really hope u gonna get a broken synergy run, these r the most fun imo. heres some exemple of broken interaction with my 3 favorite item to abuse.1. blank card 2. spark plug 3. iv bag n blood penny. BLANK CARD SYNERGY - 1. blank card + jera and a batterie(infinite everything including chest,item,etc. just double a battery with blank c n dont pick it up, go do some room to charge the blank c, double the 2 battery so u now have 4, at this point charge blank with 1 battery n double the remaining 3 so u now have 6, continu until the room is filled with battery then find a chest, double it go get a battery go back to the chest double again until u have a room full of chest or anything u wanna dupe rly and a room full of battery for recharge) 1.1 blank card + 2 of diamond (not broken at all but gonna make u roll on money, if u get the restock item u probably win that run ez) SPARK PLUG SYNERGY - 1. spark plug + blank card + the sun(infinite heal synergy) , 2 of hearth instead of the sun might work too if u manage ur heart but sun's better 2.1 spark plug + tainted magdelaine(she start with yum heart n double healing from it) or 2.2 spark plug + yum heart or 2.3 spark plug + magdelaine(cuz she start with yum h.) (infinite heal synergy) 2.4 spark p + satanic bible (can spam the s.bible dealing 40 dmg for each activation to every ennemy in the room) (only work at 1 red heart and 1 blue/black heart, its gonna take ur blue or black heart n give 1 back) IV BAG SYNERGY - (rly broken at 1.2 n up, b4 that its still rly good) 1. iv bag + blood penny (basic infinite money n healing synergy) 1.1. add php to it, iv bag will now drop 2 coin instead of 1 1.2. add maggy's bow and half heart now heal for a full heart 1.3. lastly add humbling bundle for a chance to double coin drop (with all these, every use of iv bag hurt u for half a heart n drop between 2 n 4 coin, each coin have 48% to drop half heart wich heal for a full heart) also u could try bethany + eraser n thanos snap every boss, with her wisp u can use the eraser an infinite number of time, deleting everything in sight (a bit too op, no challenge at all, also this one might have been patch since. its stupidly broken but idk its been awhile since i did a platinum god file(100% completion)) USEFULL TIPS TO ALMOST GUARANTEE A EZ WIN : u can quick reset the run till theres a blank card(or any item with game breaking potential) in shop or treasure room n go for the broken blank+ jera infinite everything or blank c + 2 of diamond + restock. or till u get a sacrifice room on 1rst floor WHILE PLAYING ISAAC FOR THE D6 n try not to get hit so u have enough heart to sac up to fight the 2 angel leave both pieces on the floor n reroll both pieces with isaac d6, n taadaa u have 2 angel item on 1rst floor b4 angel room can even appear (or double the pedestal if u can and enjoy 4 angel item on first floor ^^).(n im pretty sure u can still get both key pieces after u reroll it so kill as many angel n reroll u can easily get like 10+ angel item in a run n u can even take devil deal since sac room guarentee angel fight) theres a lot more game breaking synergy but i already write a frkin novel n u might not even want to read that much text so with that said, keep them tboi vids coming im having a lot of fun watching u learn the best roguelike ever made. n tbf ur getting a lot better with the 4 D's (duck dodge dip n dive XD) n u make better descision. top tier content frfr n also thx for the daily upload i appreciate that much needed entertainement, much love from canada(i hope my english is readable n sry if its not ^^)
You should get the enhanced boss bars mod, it tells you how many bosses are in the room by increasing the amount of health bars on screen, it also gives health bars to mega stan,mother and beast and their horseman, also dogma and just whatever doesnt have a health bar
When it comes to mods, I think you should definitely get the antibirth music mod, it adds a lot of new music which goes super hard, other than that, enhanced boss bars are really good
i dont recommend getting the antibirth music mod because he's newer and hasn't explored every area yet, but when he does get more comfortable with the game i do recommend he gets some mod that replaces the soundtrack if he gets bored of the music.
try the time machine mod (speeds up machines and beggars), planetarium chance (shows planetarium chance on hub), and regret pedestals (shows what blind item you missed). All of these are good quality of life mods
Would highly recommend the "watch out lasers" and the "coming down" mods. They are quality of life and very useful for streamers who have to talk and pay attention to the screen at the same time. I think there are 2 versions of coming down in the workshop because of compatibility issues but i'm not sure which is which.

There are no Quality 4 Items in the Boss Item Pool. Only in Rebirth does the Boss Item Pool have Magic Mushroom.

Doctor Fetus plus ipecac is a synergy, it gives bomb immunity I’m pretty sure so you got really lucky.
Edit: the Haemolacria removed it tho 😂😂😂
Dr Fetus + ipecac only gives immunity to your own first bomb. He already took parasite before, those split bombs will still hurt him
