❤️❤️❤️ yes one time too many I’ve heard a doc say “you’re fine” So frustrating. I have sure a combo of intoed-dock walk lol 😂 the “miserable misalignment” actually sounds as a sweet diagnosis haaaahahaha it’s better than “you’re fine and it’s all in your head” I’ve lived with all kinds of pains my whole life, I do have asymmetric genu varus & as I learn most likely this rotational problem thing. Long distance running? 😂 no, my legs “lock up” and I have to stand and rest till they “let go” to continue walking “long distance”. I wish to find a Dr like this in Miami, there’s so many surgeons here it is overwhelming, but it’s time to get going! New Legs!!!! 🖖😍 let’s do this!
This is 100% me. I have pain in my hip and my knee for almost 14 years now. 3 years ago I started to get ancle pain as well. My whole leg is hurting and feels unstable and twisted. I am saying this since so many years.
i never had a pain but i could never open my hips for ballet and figure skating. So i always forced my knees and ankles to turn outward, leading to disaligned pelvis making my femur and greater trochanter harder to get back to the correct position. I still have the habit to stand with my weight outward so my thighs would face straight and now i have knee pains😇 i wish i knew this problem before i retired.. always thought it was because I wasn't working hard enough
Any updates, please Stephanie? Would love to know how you are doing now and if you are glad you got the surgery? Thanks! And if anyone else out there had this done I'd love to hear more about if it was worth it and how much it helped with pain while walking, etc. many thanks
How do I get in contact with this doctor. I have very similar problem and has impacted by life very negatively and need it too change! Please let me know any information on this doctor or possibly another doctor with similar procedures! Thanks
Hi Taylor - Thank you for reaching out. For more information on the Limb Lengthening and Complex Reconstruction Service, please visit www.hss.edu/limblengthening.asp
I have miserable malalignment. I had double rotational osteotomy on right leg in 2009 and on left leg in 2010. I don't know that this was a good idea for me. Years of pain, weak legs, tendons that twist and a permanent limp. Its been, pretty much a nightmare. I've been in and out of physical therapy for over 10 years now. I sometimes wonder if I wouldn't have been better off not doing these surgeries.
I’ve had hip, knee and ankle pain since 21 I’m 43 no one can solve I keep telling them my knee feels like it’s turned in but no one will listen. Whatever the issue is it ruined my life because the pain is so bad can you pls give me location.

I ended up here from an article and had no idea how invasive the solution would be. Yikes.
Wow! Just Wow.
