This. There’s absolutely no reason a mediocre deck should cost $400 at minimum just to even stand (a very low) chance of even winning 1 game, when they could make staples in much more accessible rarities
@@Practicalinvestments Will id say that in Japon snake eyes cost 70 dollars max everything is in super a kid could buy it instead of a vidéo game for exemple . What i really hate is that we have secrets that are super in ocg .
Or maybe the tcg could just,, yenno, unban maxx-c? Just because sweaty loners that want to play solotaire with their combos get cranky and say it’s ‘unbalanced’ doesn’t mean that it is,, I’ve quite literally never had a problem with maxx c in master duel because you play around it..
Keep dreaming maxx c truthers. Move to china or play online if you like the bug so much. No, but seriously, I hate Maxx C but the core reason is the minigame around the card. It benefits the going first player way too much to be a net positive for the game. If the minigame wasnt so disgusting, I might be fine with it, but I feel the current minigame barely benefits the player going second anyway. And dont say anything about me playing around it because I do play some decks that are better into maxx c and I typically play the 6 outs. The problem in MD is where you have 3 auto win cards (Maxx) and 6 pseuto-auto wins to counter it. Out of those 9 total cards, 6 of them are incredibly strong going first, even more than they are going second (Maxx auto wins you the game first and second and going first you can even protect it/bait their called by). As someone who recently had a session where I lost 7/12 coinflips and I am going second in over half my games, I feel like maxx hurts as much as it helps me. Wanna know the best part? In 5 of those 7 games where I lost the coinflip, they had maxx going first when I'm sitting here about to play through their board. Honestly, I'd be more ok with maxx if they just banned called by and unlimited crossout or smth. I am a🧂when someone randomly sacks me with that semi-limited boring garbage card.
Maxx doesnt only mess with combos, it makes the mid range, actual healthy decks unplayable cuss they summon a lot, pass with minimal interaction but massive follow up for turn 3, but there will be no turn 3 since maxx c player gained so much advantage they basically won. Maxx promotes full floodgate deck and worse wombo combo deck, yes it doesnt stop combo decks, it only makes the degenerate ones even stronger since they can ignore the challenge, example being snake eyes, it meta here AND in the OCG.
the tcg banlist + the ocg rarity system would be the dream
Tcg rarity bumping ; the fact that we are taken for just money ; price of cards and rulings are the things i hate about yugioh

I think instead of banning MaxxC in the OCG, they should bring it back to three in the TCG
