I flew Turkish business earlier this year and just took Qatar business last week. Turkish food and service wins by a mile. Best plane food I’ve ever had.

I love seeing kind words given to Turkish Airlines. They've always taken tremendous care of our family. It's always comfortable travel. And the food is the best in the skies. I should mention that I'm a Pan Am brat, so I've been treated to excellent 1st Class service. Turkish is right up there, but never receives enough praise.

Love turkish airlines - And use them everytime we go there, for a getaway in our holiday appartment. Never tried their longhaul product, since all our flights are from Copenhagen Denmark.
I kinda liked the older biz lounge better than the new one, probably just a question of getting used to the new one. Next trip is in 3 weeks, and I can´t wait. Great vid TFF

LOVE IT!!! The 777 has such an ENORMOUS amount of space. The food was certainly a highlight! Funny story though, in the middle of the dinner service I asked for a glass of the bordeaux and receive a glass (of wonderful port)! Porto is the Turkish word on the menu for port. I just drank it. There was no chance to say anything, and nor am I one to complain, but it is a funny memory I have of the 777 Turkish flight we took this summer.
Yes the space on the 777 is amazing. And lol re the port. 😅 Have to say I still haven’t come around to enjoying dessert wines lol.

Love Turkish. The business lounge was overwhelming both times I’ve been there. One of my top airlines after Qatar and Emirates
Hey Top Flight Family. You had me with the transplant. I was like he looks great bald. 😂. But great reach out from the Turkish tourism. 🙌🏼. Legroom makes such a different in one’s flight. Nice amenity kits. Glassware. A chef on board? 2 meals. 🕯. Salt n pepper shakers. Children meals and baby food too? Oh. You can sit on the ottomans too. Guess I’ll be experiencing this through you guys. Nice bathroom. Mattress pad. Eye shields. Pillows. That Istanbul airport lounge is amazing. The airports in some of these other countries are amazing compared to JFK and LGA. Have you guys been to Singapore? Anyway thanks for sharing and see you next video.

Big facts about the 777 biz class seats....not the best for direct aisle access, but definitely roomy/comfy
fun fact: do&co is also a Turkish company operating in Austria.

Most countries have dropped their Covid testing requirements these days, thankfully. So that makes international travel a lot easier than before. I believe China’s borders are still completely closed, but we are hoping to make it back to my home of Hong Kong sometime next year. They finally drop their quarantine requirements. The flights are still crazy expensive right now, so I’m waiting for those fares to drop a bit first!

The onboard experience is great but I gotta say, don't fly Turkish Airlines if you are on a schedule (or care about the ground services). Something has changed since late 2021. I fly the Domestic/International IST - MIA route in business class often enough to know. Bad customer service, repeatedly canceled flights, absolutely horrible customer service, they are even limiting services in the lounge like the sleeping rooms, which you are allowed to request if you have a very long layover (which btw I have right now and is their fault to due previously mentioned cancellations). I'll be taking my business elsewhere. #turkishairlines #worstcustomerservice #neveragain

If I can make a suggestion. Switzerland has been rated the best country in the world and Zurich is such a great city. Therefore you should fly Swiss Air for a Nonstop flight!

Haha nice jokes at the beginning. Glad you try Turkish. They have amazing deals and you get a longer European flight with better service and layover then other European carriers.
No more seconds for us. We will not book another flight with Turkish Airlines. We were in Turkey half of September to half of October 2022. Almost the same time with your trip. Our flight from IST to SFO was one our BC flights. Flight steward was so indifferent. The very young female crew dressed as a chef did not say a word when she took our lunch orders. Never saw her again. My friend asked if the meal comes with wine. No answer. I told her "Fish." Then she walked to Row 7. Your row was 7 center seats. Catering container has DO&Co label but food lunch and breakfast were subpar. Salmon setting on some small not visible greens was too dry so as my friend's. Did not even eat half of it. At breakfast I asked our male crew if the chicken is spicy. He said the he will asked the chef. He came back and said" the chef said it's very spicy." So I took the almost not edible Dolma. I asked my friend about the chicken. He said" not spicy but tough." Food at the lounge was much better even the employees.
No bottled water was given. I have to ask 3X until I got tired. He will asked somebody in the galley. Then came with a nice glass with about 1/3 cup of water. I saw that they gave some (a few) passengers a small bottled water. Both of us has 2 bottled water and a small orange juice but were confiscated at the gate. When we arrived in SFO, we ran to a water fountain because we were so thirsty.
SFO to IST B789 crew were a little better, we had bottled water but food Dynata catering were not good too. Salmon was hard and dry. Overcooked and no sauce. Baklavas in Turkey were very good but not from SFO. Did not eat breakfast. Our grumpy Chef was rude. Not even a greeting. Only one toilet available in front. The other one in the middle galley was Kaput. So we expected a line. At snooze time a female crew came and insisted to put the seat mattress. Then she stuck the heavy case into the foot well. Why didn't she put it back to the overhead compartment. My feet could hardly move in there. Good I have small feet.
BUT, separate check in was one of the best. From Gate 6, check in, one immigration officer and one security screening machine only us were a breeze at 9AM. We have enough time at the lounge.
New Istanbul is huge and clean. We have to use a buggy once on arrival from SFO and twice during our domestic flights. Meals at the Lokantasi tasted way much better than Turkish Airline food. We don't want to pay $4,200 each for any Turkish Airline flight.

Well Turkish Airline was not so nice to us!!!
My sisters and I will never fly Turkish anything anymore. We flow eco fly from Turkey to Tel Aviv early April of this year 2023. To our surprise we were charged for check in a bag $250, for one person, $270 for the other person and $200 for the third, ands one way. We call Turkish Airlines to see why this was and they said that they’re flat fee for 50 pounds unless is $145 one way. We all spoke English and we could not communicate to them in Turkish we ended up paying to check in a bag per person around $430. You call that a good airline?? Never fly Turkish Airlines ever again. What happened to charging a flat fee! People who spoke their language were not charged anything!, as we communicated to many during the flight! Anyone else experience such charges with Turkish Airline for checked-in bags?
And did I mention that on the way bag fri
tele Aviv to Turkey that Turkish airline lost our luggage and we didn’t get it until an hour before we flow back to USA! Not a single single apology was offered! No more Turkish Airline for our families!
Not a good business class. Traveling next week, I paid almost $8K, better be a different business class seat for me.
I flew Turkish Airlines Business Class from LAX to IST and I was very disappointed with the onboard service! Flight attendants were not very kind and didn't care about taking care of their passengers. They did the bare minimum of service (didn't replenish water or wine glasses, didn't go around the cabin to ask if there was anything else the passenger wanted) I even had a flight attendant in business class NOT SMILE EVEN ONCE! EVERYTIME i WOULD THANK HIM, HE NEVER SAID: "You are Welcome" or "Enjoy your meal" "Bon Appetite" HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING AND DIDN'T CARE OF TAKING PRIDE IN HIS WORK!" In the future, I will give my business instead to Qatar Airlines or Emirates.
Octavio you're not alone with your miseries with Turkish Airlines. My friend and I have the same experience that you had. IST to SFO was one of our Worst Business Class flights. We didn't get bottled water. Service and Food were very bad. SFO to IST was a little better than bad. Only 1 toilet was working in Business Class. A lot of passengers were complaining because there's always a line. We like Turkeyi . We rank Hot Air Balloon experience in Goreme as our No. 1 best in all our travels. Maybe we will go back to Turkeyi again but absolutely Not Turkish Airlines.
