That advert was WAY too long.
Really ...?
The "delivery guy" was FBI, when she came to the door the PD guy said "did you order a pizza?"
She said "No"
He quickly pulls out the gun from the box because it's on the ready, you don't want it getting hung up as you try to upholster it, not in his pocket. They have concealable holsters you knob. Your
reaction time at that close of range, she could slam the door shut, or yes, if you know you're wanted by the FBI for murder, she just might answer the door with a gun.
Are you that sheltered?
Other times when the density level has reached critical mass. That's when I've taken a break from the channel for a while.
Disney bought Fox and 20th Century Fox, but not the far-right "news" channel Fox News. That's why new movies and shows are rebranded as 20th Century Studios and dropping the Fox name. To dissosociate themselves from Fox (Faux) News. Shows like The Simpsons are now produced by Disney.
It's called Keeps not Brings Back 😂 sorry Simon
ok that has to be one of the BEST ad reads youve done. holy shit that had me dying laughing xD love you fact boy
I want to see Danny write a script, two pages max, that keeps Simon on his feet for at least 30 minutes by intentionally triggering as many rants as possible.
I second this motion. All in favor f this thread.

I love how the sponsors are OK with Simon being Simon during the ad reads
As long as it keeps raining lettuce, they won’t care one bit.
Watching Simon go from mocking Americans calling for the death penalty to calling for death himself was pretty funny.
Always happens on casual criminalist podcast
I liked when he faked an American accent.
I can picture Simon in the days when they still hung prisoners in London in the crowd yelling hang him, he's sooooo funny. He makes my day.
Why pay tax money for dregs that won't ever better themselves? Just get rid of them.
@@G-Mastah-Fash Because you don’t know which ones will better themselves and which ones won’t. Not to mention that everyone has value
Simon, you don't need to pretend you don't want more shows, we know you have a problem and we're gonna enable it. Go on. Make the show.
I can't have enough of Simon's shows :D
We have a codependent relationship. He likes the money and we like the content.
I second this.
As an American, I love simon’s impressions of Americans/American things. 😂
Got keeps two months ago after seeing your sponsorships, I can actually see some itty bitty hairs refilling my hair line since my edges started to recede. Holding hope that it comes back entirely, and so far it’s looking good. Can’t thank you enough for bringing it to my attention
When Americans do British accents: "That is an awful accent. Nobody sounds like that."
When British people do American accents: "Why do I know someone who sounds like this?"
That's 'cause they know how to talk right, they just choose not to.
Because Americans are often trying to do an exaggerated posh British or Cockney accent based loosely on what they heard in movies/TV. It isn't too surprising that people overseas who consume American made media would have a better grasp on the range of accents across the US and be able to replicate one with some practice. If you regularly consumed British media for a few years, it would be much easier to replicate the accent.
It's amazing how many English actors play American parts. Hugh Lawrie, Kim Catrell and Rufus Sewell for instance.
We are more exposed to American regionalised diction than Americans are to British.
Simon needs to pick an American accent and stick with it. He keeps switching between Cali-boy and Southern preacher.
"HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAYN!!"
I spit my beer all over the steering wheel
I just love how Simon enters the ad read with at least some intention of staying on point, but then veers off course like lad who's had a few pints and just saw flashing blues ahead..
When can we officially start calling BB Factboy "The Wolf of Prague's Streets?" I feel like it's been a long time coming
I've missed simon and the basement boys. Happy new year
Dammit. I was really rooting for Danny getting his license.
Well Brain Blaze is back so now Danny will pass his driving test in a Sinclair C5 and get elected mayor of Tintagel 😇
I was hoping for the light to get fixed.
@@stevenjlovelace dreams can come true as soon as Danny is elected Mayor he'll have the light fixed
Thank god, I've got my fix at last
Though it wasn't on AMW, I think my favourite story about a criminal getting captured was in a 90s dumbest criminals book. The suspect was hiding, and one of the officers yelled out "Marco!".
The suspect promptly yelled out "Polo!"
I feel Simon is describing a British version of cops, I feel America’s most wanted wouldn’t seem too off the wall for him
I think it's safe to say Keeps probably doesn't want a nervous breakdown as part of their ad read :)
Fuckin hilarious though
yeah, america’s most wanted is basically just crimewatch uk. also, yvette is a french name and chloë comes from greek, so That’s Why
lmao he just mentioned crimewatch in the video. i made this comment before he says it though.
The VRBO "I am right where I belong" commercial in the middle of a video about criminals going to prison is the most perfect ad placement ever
I see new rules to add to the casual criminalist. Dont leave personally identifiable items with with crime, especially when they can be traced back to you.
The FBI are notoriously terrible with guns.
And I fully support your new channel chasing INTERPOL's most wanted.
Yay, well done Simon and team! 👏👏
First time watcher on Brain Blaze, long time fan of your UA-cam channels (I dare not claim to know of all 😋). This was so much fun! I love your high energy and just, glee in this.
"Strap him to the chairR" - I watched that part like 6 times, laughing my head off each time. Thanks for keeping me properly entertained all the way here in Cameroon.
Simon loves the death penalty, McDonald’s, and KFC. He’s more American than I am.
The tonal difference between Ramsay's American and British show is so extreme. As an American, I genuinely thought Ramsay screams all the time, and could not watch Hells Kitchen. Then I heard his ASMR like narration in the British counterpartand was actually able to watch a full season worth. The American version is too stressful for me, I watch kitchen shows to relax.
'Strap him to the chaih!'
Oh, wait, this is America.
'Strap him to the chaiR!'
People get much harsher sentences for drug-related crimes than* violent rapists and murderers do. There are baby killers wandering around this country that literally killed babies in NICU wards. And got out in like 20-30 years.

America's Got Most Wanted sounds like a live execution show but would probably actually be a reality competition to become most famous or some shit lol
Love me some Blaze!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful 2022 so far..
Kudos for leaving tge company logos in the top left, makes it so much easier to skip to the content 👍🏻. Also, loving the channelS (plural) big fan, cheers whistle boy
Love Simon's American accent impression. Deep, raspy, and a bit southern!!!
Felt like an old school blaze, good shit Simon, Danny, Sam
the watch was already worth it solely because of the "technical difficulties" during the sponsorship ad!:D
Oh my gosh that’s so cool…. I’m from (and live in) West Palm Beach and I never thought I’d hear you say my town lol!
Saskatchewan Canada still has crime stoppers in that type of voice. It's played on the news on channel CTV.

Its about time you uploaded fact boy, only been waiting two weeks, don't do it again
As an American I can say we are a very intense people.
We yell a lot.
We like explosions.

A commercial that has a guy yelling, blowing up stuff, shooting guns, and selling something will do well.
💥💥💥💥💥 YOU SHOULD BUY MY MACHINE-GUN PIZZA BAKING SET!!! 💥💥💥💥💥

It’s absolute genius to get a bald man to advertise hair retention products when he mentions he didn’t use it.
Simon should do a collab with Scott Van Pelt; the fact that he is ambivalent about sports doesn’t matter 😂
Saddest one caught on AMW was Kathleen Soliah (Sara Jane Olson). She should have remained free.
American here, love the accent simone, impeccable. 🤣
5:03 Wow; a really good Gordon Ramsey impression suddenly burst out.
I was watching a very calm video, decided I wanted chaos so came here. First thing I heard, "STRAP HIM IN THE CHAIR, STRAP HIM IN THE CHAIR"
If 2021 could be summed up in one sentence “ Strap him to the chair”.
All American news is left
By American standards, I would agree that most of it is, yes.
By international standards, it's all mostly right-wing in the USA.

Pineapple doesn't belong on pizza, at least here in NY
It doesn't anywhere in the world. Pizza Hawaii is a crime against Pizza
Well slap my ass and call me a rebel, I fucking love it.
25:20 like Hallmark Christmas movies, but it's always people trying their best to escape prison but always being caught by extremely competent guards. Then there's a long, dramatic court scene, where the criminal gets a legally accurate addition to their sentence. Dude, I bet there's a market there!
Finally new episode! I was getting worried.
I feel like we should get even more generic with who we identify as Simon. "Its a bald guy, that's simon!" No beard, glasses or slim, just bald.
He couldn’t pay $300 for tyres but 10 grand for bail is ok. That judge needs to be sacked for negligence.
I would say fun fact here but it's not really all that fun so yeah. John Walsh's sons name was Adam. In supermarkets and retail stores and malls in America now there is a code that is referenced when a child goes missing in the store. It's code Adam. For those that don't know Johns son was abducted in a setting like one of these and due to lacking of protocol the kidnapper managed to get away with his child before doing horrible things to him. I don't recommend you Google it Simon. I feel like I understand your feelings and sentiments towards certain crimes and their graphic nature and this is one of those honestly. But basically a code Adam starts a cycle with security/loss prevention personal in the store in which all managers are contacted within the workplace immediately and the entire building is locked down completely. No one goes in or out of said store until either a, the child is found, or b, security footage is reviewed and it's proven beyond any reasonable doubt that the child is no longer in the building anyhow. I've worked in one place where a code Adam was called. They did find the child. But I hadn't known what that was until after that incident because it's not really part of training materials for these places even among management.
Just as soon as I think I have subscribed to all the channels that Simon is in, I somehow find another one. Now I’m beginning to wonder if Simon is a real person. Either way. I guess add this to the list then too. I swear there are so many lol.
Yeah, dude, it's called "Keeps", not "Get Backs". Lolol
So Simon would force the prisoners to watch Gilligan's Island? That's heaven, if it's anything.
Rewatching and can’t get 15:45 out of my head 😂
I just noticed this channel isn't called business blaze anymore. Fair enough, about 6 months in this Chanel stopped being about business
Ohh thank god your back! The withdrawal symptoms were getting noticed! 😳🥴
I like the international idea, please do it!
If there are any weird things with the English Language, I just blame the French.
That's true tho, unsolved crime UA-cam show... Lamont at Large occasionally covers unsolved murders and disappearances
Simon needs to do an episode on the Crying Boy paintings. Danny's home town was host to a bonfire of the supposedly haunted and fireproof paintings that so many people blamed for houses going up in flames. Simon could do his own Blaze about the blaze.
Oh my gosh I googled it and love it cause being in America and seeing these creepy paintings in like doctor offices and some other office settings right next to Rockwell's amazing and at times funny paintings I would have never thought at a similar time a bunch of Brits were burning these out of fear 😂
That seems like the kind of knuckle scraping, superstitious acts of “rural villagers”. In the same vein as the monkey hangers of Hartlepool. 🤣🤣
I second this. Maybe there could be a whole episode on errors of attribution like that.

As a long time viewer I have absolutely loved Simon's journey on the road of his emotions towards capital punishment, its been a wild ride.
Yup. I like how he starts out in Casual Criminalist eps going, I don't really believe in capital punishment... and then if child killers are involved, he's all gut them like a hog!
Allegedly
@@birdielein9636 this does seem fair though.
@@brainblaze6526 I'm totally down with it! Actually, the older I get, the less patience I have with people who commit heinous acts. When they have someone totally dead to rights? I'm ok with the death penalty. There are some people for whom there is absolutely no question as to if they did it- like a lot of serial killers... Just get rid of them. I don't think that makes us a less just or moral society. It's just erasing the monsters.
Life imprisonment is actually cheaper than death penalty due to the costs of appeals. So we need to give up on the death penalty. But I'm all for life imprisonment and putting them to work for free labor.
America's Most Wanted was a decent show that was elevated by being genuinely helpful. John Walsh always towed the line between over-acting and putting just the right amount of drama into his narrations, but he certainly never half-assed it. He was clearly passionate about the program, and I'm willing to bet he and the production staff are proud of their accomplishments.
COPS, on the other hand...
Simon on casual criminalist- “I don’t know where I stand on execution, just give them life in prison”
Simon blazing “ Strap him in the chair!”
I love watching both channels
Now he’s the same way on casual criminalist!
The first Brain Blaze of the year and before work as well. Today is going to be a good day!! Cheers Bionic Arse Simon, Dungeon Danny ( I know it's basement but that doesn't run off the tongue as well), memetacular Sam. Happy New Year!
You should cover the Adam Walsh case on the casual criminalist. John Walsh is an absolute inspiration.
I'm pretty sure he started America's most wanted, because of what happened to his son.
John Walsh and others like him deserve all the respect. like to see the victims family just do nothing and complain and not take action towards these issues in america personally irriates me a bit
@@that1nerdyblackgirl736 I mean if my loved one was murdered horrifically I wouldn't be able to do a damn thing, that shit is debilitating. It's incredible he was able to go one and do something so major. You can't hold anyone to that standard.
It’s gotta include the “conspiracy theories” like the (probably true) idea that he wasn’t killed by Ottis Toole and the (very weirdly compelling but probably not true) idea that it wasn’t actually Adam’s body that they found because the teeth he’d just lost had already completely grown back.
Wow, you actually heard of Aktenzeichen XY? And no, our crime rate isn't high; this is actually why our murder cases are still getting due attention.
Edit: A 'Zeichen' can be any kind of cipher or symbol, not only a number. XY stands for 'John Doe'.
Simon going from talking about how American shows are more aggressive to yelling about "flour" being spelled wrong within seconds...
Netflix rebooted "Unsolved Mysteries" and it actually is quite good. There are always some mysteries around deaths. Anyway, there has been two seasons....and it is very good. It always ends with the number to call if you have information.
The fact that you think Robert Stack can be replaced makes me feel bad for you. It's shit because there's no Robert Stack.
@@smittywerbenjaegermanjensen I mean he'd be pretty hard to get hold of 😂😂👍
Yea, you can't replace the narrator. It's not the same at all!!
@@smittywerbenjaegermanjensen100% right
Simon's American accent is on point.
He should speak American more often.
It was good, but it had a hint of scottish on the extended R. Or maybe it sounded a bit pirate-y.
If you live in Alabama.
Needs a bit more anger😂
America’s Most Wanted was a full length show where they profiled crimes where the perp still hasn’t been caught, describing their crimes in detail. At the end of the 15 or so minute story they would then give details about the suspect hoping a viewer would have info. At the end of the show they would update past cases.
Man it's sad were in a world today its not around. EVERYONE used to watch that when I was a kid. This and Unsolved Mysteries everyone watched.
Bad boys bad boys
Aktenzeichen is not strictly "number" - it's "file reference" more accurately. The same basic idea that "X-Files" used decades later ;) and that show is a classic of German speaking TV programs - co-produced between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Also the staple of many comedian's jokes.
I missed that in the video since it sounded like gibberish, it was just in the end-bit that i realised that he was talking about "Aktenzeichen xy: ungelöst" xD
But to be fair, those are pretty hard words for a non-native and the letter "y" is also pronounced differently in german. :D
@@Fabiundso Indeed, but the script writer called it a "case number" and Simon said "XY is not a number!" - that's what I was referring to :)
A moment of respect for the actors on AMW who got tackled because of mistaken identity.
There was an episode of Mama's Family about that. Thelma starts dating a guy, sees him on America's Most Wanted (or some non-infringing knockoff) and, after turning him in, finds out that we was the reenactment actor on the show.
Hope those guys are doing well
I prefer Cops, myself.
That’s from an old episode of drake & josh but I’m not mad at it 😂😂
Matthew McConaughey got his start on Americas most wanted re-enacting a young man who was the victim of a random anger shooting while just standing in his driveway
Way late but I think it was Unsolved Mysteries
We NEED a “STRAP HIM TO THE CHAIR” Metal album from Simon now! 🎸
Someone needs to do it (Sam pretty please? :) ), we already have the Simon growl from before, it could make a cool song
Best believe I clicked off Casual Criminalist for this XD
Damn straight
Same, I was almost finished the White Uno episode
Didn't get very far it's almost a CC episode 😂
The wait for this was excruciating!! 🤣🤣 The relief when I see blaze boy pop up on my notifications 😎 Priceless 👌
I remember Simon talking about John List on his UA-cam program "The Casual Criminalist" who was captured thanks to America's Most Wanted after being on the run for about 20 years.
I remember that episode of AMW. The sculpture had the same exact glasses List was wearing when he was caught. Found that out the following episode 😉
My new favorite thing that Simon does is his American impression 🤣
I love that every time he said A&W I think of the A&W burger spokesmen with his maritime accent asking if you have information about the FBIs most wanted list
I think Simon overestimates just how much range time and firearms training the average officer/agent gets. Specialty units get more, but citizens getting to the range on a weekly basis *generally* have more firearm experience than the average law enforcement officer who only has to pass periodic certification.
Budget crunchers don't realize the money spent on live firearms training can save *_Massively_* on lawsuits. So long as criminals can get guns the police need to be able to react in kind.
A few months ago a video came out showing a shoot out where the guy was shot in the leg, his gun jammed, and he ended up running at the cops, while trying to pistol whip them with his jammed gun. Needless to say he ended up getting shot...
It’s true… the average firearms enthusiast in the US is as good or better than your average cop. I know plenty of both.
I shoot more on a student budget than cops do.
Somehow, unlike them, I don't manage to kill three people a day.
@@sibire8284 Ha! So sad and yet also true.
I have never shot anyone. Nor have I ever mistaken my tazer for my firearms.
In Pennsylvania hair stylists are required to have twice as many training hours than police officers to be able to get their licenses
If Chloe messes up Simon, he should never move to Ireland…
Ah, that reminds me of my good mate Shoirlaiephroig from Ireland.
21:39 I think ever since Simon has started The Casual Criminalst (not to be confused with the Criminal Casualist, Simon's upcoming channel with no form of cohesion or direction where he just randomly uploads badly researched videos without a schedule) he's been getting a bit more on-board in regards to the Death Penalty. Especially the past few weeks with the Hello Kitty doll and sh*t.
Simon, a "most wanted criminals" channel with your style and branding would be freaking awesome. subscribed in advance.
About the finger prints. They run it through state and local data bases for crimes comitted at that level. If it's not a federal crime they won't look through that data base a lot. It costs money and takes time. It happens a lot more then you'd think. Just one of the many issues that come with how separate the states really are from each other.
America has state & local fingerprint databases? We only have one - which is maintained & overseen by the Federal police whose jurisdiction is - you know - the entire country!
@@danieljob3184 Yeah, the U.S. sometimes goes overboard with the whole "state" thing.
Simon, you're getting your channels mixed up again. Next Casual Criminalist is going to be about "5 Companies That Stole Their Way to The Top"
The German "Aktenzeichen" is using numbers and letters, That's why the translation with "file number" is not working. "Zeichen" is better translated with "token" or "character" and can even encompass symbols or punctuation. The show itself was (and still is) hilarious. It was probably quite similar to the British one: very calm speech, no melodrama, was always like watching a governmental official delivering the newest update on the dryness of paint in room 254. But the cases were really cool. There is not that much "big" crime in Germany and in the 70s and 80s without internet with only three TV channels news was traveling slowly, especially when you lived in a small village in nowhere where nothing happens. So this was the first contact with real crime (outside TV shows, of course) I had.
The best moment of the show was Eduard Zimmermann (the German moderator) was asking his co-hosts in Austria (Peter Nidetzky) and Switzerland (Konrad Toenz) about the progress they made on cases during the show. Their accents were really funny for someone from northern Germany^^ But incredibly some crimes were practically solved during the show, when people called in and told them who did the deed.
Now I am a bit older, do not watch TV anymore...but actually help the police solve crime as an expert in forensics. I had some of my cases on the show. Funny, how things work out^^
yeah I was going to rent about Simons comment about the "Aktenzeichen" but your comment explains it pretty well
I haven't watched the Show very often and as far as I know there isn't a regular schedule
Police usually do not disclose many details publicly unless they need to do so since the privacy of the victim and even the offender are very important from a legal standpoint
yeah I was also about to comment, "fact boi check your facts" XD or rather, check your translations lol
I thought the xy was just supposed to be variables representing random case numbers.
@@G-Mastah-Fash I guess they do, although case numbers usually look different (e.g. 2022 123 344 35 or 145 UJs 34/2022 or 045/1K/0123456/2022). They X at least might also represent the "ungelöst" ("unsolved") and more mysterious part, like "Mister X killed again".
