The word Saints just like Church does not necessarily mean the Body of Christ...which according to Paul was a Mystery hid in God before the World. (COL. 1:26 , EPH. 3:5) So, if a Mystery, then it wasn't known to Daniel. There is a "Catching Up" of believers...because Jesus took the Wrath of God in our place. The anti christ is a tool of judgement on an unbelieving world...according to Paul. (2 Thes. 9-12) We are not destined as His Body for wrath, though, we will suffer tribulation in this life...we will not go through that time as described in Revelation. I believe the Saints Daniel is speaking of are Believing Israel and all who come to faith in Jesus AFTER the "Catching Up".
