I miss boscos old voice actor...just doesnt feel the same, not saying the voice isnt good But its missing that loud and bombastic nature that bosco always put off
I might as well post my findings here. Only two max voice actors have ever reprised their role. Out of the five people who have played Max (All of them are still alive) only two, Dave boat and William kasten , have ever reprised their role. In case you're wondering about all of the Max voice actors. There's the aforementioned William kasten and Dave boat but there's also Robert tinkler, Nick Jameson, And the voice for Max in the remastered, Andrew chaikin.

I'm glad I came back to this as an adult, I think most of the jokes went over my head as a kid. Though, I am prepared for those dated early 2000s jokes that will make no sense to me cause I'm a 2001 baby :/

Voice isn’t bad! But they did it for a horrible reason. PC culture shouldn’t be seeping it’s way into video games in general let alone Sam and Max. Plus it makes no sense since Voice acting shouldn’t be based on race anyway, and also I could care less what Joey Camen did in the past to warrant it. He was an integral voice to Sam and Max and they and everyone who supported it shouldn’t have treated replacing him like some altruistic act for the benefit of mankind. If this were a new character, It’d be different but they really dropped the ball with a move they knew was going to cause a controversy, which is wrong. I don’t think any of us hate the voice, it’s the reason why they replaced him that most of us think is stupid, which it really is.

Everybody's talking about Bosco's new VA, but I can't stop being annoyed by... Sam's nose. I know they changed it to be more similar to his original 2D design, but I don't think it works in 3D. It's annoying the crap out of me for some reason. Hopefully they change it for season 3 at least. (I'm trying to imagien angry noir Sam with that nose, lol) ...Well, regardless, most of the overhaul looks gorgeous. Already bought this one Switch to support the new team. I hope they get to do seasons 2 and 3, that's what I'm REALLY waiting for!

the recasts are the big issue, the biggest issue is they censored a lot of jokes from the original or just removed dialog all together. There was a joke made at THE EXPENSE of skinheads and they removed it to not cause offense. They removed a joke about "militant school students" because they didn't want to cause offense. Recast the characters all you want, don't change the fucking jokes because they "are offense in a modern age"

Max sounds too low too. I watched the cartoon recently and it really reminded me about how much bothered me about Telltale's efforts.
