@@SuicideSeason4545though considering that the old hardware has less bugs than the PC port, it would be less accurate considering a pretty old console would probably have more bugs.
How? Lol The only difference is, you're downloading a software that not only will put the filter on Sonic Adventure but on any game from what I've seen lol. A mod wouldn't do that. If anything, this is better since you can put it on any game. To each their own tho lol.
This is amazing. It is truly unfortunate that there aren’t more Sonic games on the Saturn - Adventure 1 should’ve definitely been a Saturn release - the 3D polygon models really work well here. Ditto with the music. I’ve always believed that the Sonic R / Sonic Jam aesthetic minus the racing mechanic would’ve been a much better fit for Adventure 1. This would never happen but it could be really cool to get an official demake of SA1 along with a completed Sonic X-treme game as throwbacks that Sega could release on modern consoles…
Only thing I would change is making the spring have the Sonic 3/CD sound effect. It appeared a lot during the latter parts of the classic games library.
As a De-make this really hits the visual style of the Saturn!! Shame this was never real, but this stuff has legs- how about a crazy taxi de-make next?

i know this sounds stupid, but is there an option to play these mods without the forced OST they have? i'd rather listen to Sonic Adventure tracks than what is on the modpack
Really it should have all the music from X-Treme and 3D Blast since those were early attempts at it and some of the beta music for 3D Blast is early music for Adventure.
My videos will always be 16x9 or above unless otherwise, in this video I used ReShade presets to make it look like the way it did. (Which I mentioned in the video's description.)
Que lastima que diga que es Saturn y claramente es Dreamcast. Cuánto miedo le siguen teniendo a la 32bits de Sega. Y eso que hace poco salió el Unreal para Saturn
😂😂😂 polycount, draw distance snd framerate are way too high for a saturn game. Transparency and general texturework would also bevimpossible, as the size of the level itself
needs 5 meter away fog and more popin to be a true Sega Saturn 3D experience
Igel you are here lol!
The Daytona USA music during the Tails segment made this go from a 10/10 to a 20/10. :D
That doesn't look Saturn, -it looks like Sonic Heroes on PS2, but runs a lot smoother.
But does it work on real hardware?
Sadly no, because it's a mod for the PC port of Sonic Adventure DX, recreating the Saturn style
@@Bieelzy But what if you managed to port the mod to the dreamcast port?
@@mohammed-ko4zuI imagine it would be incredibly hard and time consuming to work on 20+ year old hardware

i loved!great back in total style genuine sega saturn!great work
This actually looks really good
the reason why you don't see Big or Gamma is because these models are from Sonic R
Which I have the link to in the description.
The "90's TV filter" used in this video should be an actual mod.
I would KILL for that
Agreed, but using ReShade isn't difficult either, if you want to have the filter on.

that was a good ost transition from emerald coast to the 2nd part

It's not a de-make as it doesn't run on older hardware.
@@CJinMono Thank you for reading half of the comment!
I read the full comment, you're the one who used "de-make" incorrectly.
This is what sonic 3d blast or xtreme should have been. Thank God for the Dreamcast
Looks sick
noice 🦔💨
in the different timeline classic sonic will be the deafut sonic and mario sonic still begin rivals
Yeah and Sega would still have consoles.
The quality of the ring noise is too high
Is the dithering transparency in it? I can't tell with the scan lines on screen.
does it adhere to Saturn poly counts, texture sizes, draw distances, rules etc? Would be amazing if it was actually on the Saturn
Unfortunately, this is just a mod for the steam version of the game, and the effects are from different software.
It seems like the ring pickup sound effect is too loud compared to the other sfx and the bgm. :/
That's probably due to me not using the Sound Overhaul mod, unless the Saturn mod itself had that issue.
this is not anything like how it would be on the saturn lol. even the "scanlines" are just ugly. a real CRT doesnt look that bad
I’m confused as to what this mod actually is. It looks like it just swaps out the character models and UI. Am I missing something?

No. Sonic Adventure Saturn is the name of the mod. You can see the details in the description.

Can you make sonic adventure 2 battle 😮❤🎉🎉🎉
There no way this is running on a Saturn. It can’t do lighting effects or transparencies.
You're squishing it. I can clearly tell from the act intro that you're using a 16x9 resolution.
actually, upon watching more of the video it appears that the mod author simply didn't optimise it for 4:3 very well.

you reap what you sow
No you know dam well the Saturn doesn't have the capabilities of these 4k sounds
