It makes me so happy seeing all the pros love the course I have called my home course since I started playing back in 2017.

My girlfriend and I played this mini course a few months back and i hit my first ace! The hole with the ramp in front of the basket! I was super shocked and excited!!!!👏🏼

Missed meeting you and Trevon at Austin Casey but did meet some other pros and had a great time. Met Simon briefly but he wasn't real enthused about his round. Followed Niklas day 2 and 3 and he played stellar. DM is lighting it up even without Simon and Eagle. Gratz on a strong finish on day 3. Oh, and Trevon got robbed on that basket-in-the-ground hole - thought for sure that was an Ace.
Is it still an ace if it takes 20 throws?
I was there to help with the sign hole when they were setting the signs, didn't do any concrete work but i got to throw at it repeatedly while they were placing the posts. They wanted to block every lane.

I’m not trying to be mean or disrespectful too anyone but how can someone throw 5 disks off the tee and then on the 5th throw the disk happens to go in , how is that called a ace?
@user-hl9fr3ur3i when having fun like this on a short course. The goal is just to get it in the basket. Meaning ace. So true blue ace is one thing. Tournament ace is another. Some people go out in the field for weeks and try to throw in from 150 feet + and never achieve that. It's just a great feeling throwing in or aceing anything over 150 feet. Even a huge big 50 foot putt is exciting to many.

I understand that part about having fun and also practicing., but I’m still confused about it being a true ace or not. Not trying to be a downer.
@@WyattSlater-c3m there are practice aces, first shot practice round aces, and tournament true blue aces.

Really, there needs to be more courses like this and less the hybrid/ball golf courses.
TBF, Its only an ace if its the first shot.
It's an ace if you throw from a tee pad to the designated hole in one shot. In a tournament it won't have the same value if you retee and ace, but definitely still an ace in my opinion
@@bassmaster7942 the word "ace" literally comes from the 1 on the scorecard.
@@bassmaster7942 there isn't a golfer on Earth who counts holing out second or third shots off the tee in practice rounds as part of their hole-in-one total.
It completely cheapens the feat.
@@jaron91 the word ace means you have made it in the hole from a teepad in one shot. Hole in one is the process of doing it on your first shot. Either way it can still be impressive for someone to ace run a hole ans get it during casual play.
@@bassmaster7942 nobody is saying it isn't impressive. But it isn't an ace. Call it a player 2 ace, or a fake ace, or a throw in.
But it by definition is absolutely not an ace. Every disc you throw off the tee pad first is a stroke, plus the one stroke penalty for re-teeing means it literally cannot be an ace.
Tell me you dont know the difference between A throw in and an ace... without telling me😊

Those type of people believe teepad into basket is a ace. While technically 5 throws plus 4 retee strokes is a 9.
@@pauldupree7862from teepad to chains is an ace in my opinion. Only the fun police are calling this a 9 on a course like this. It’s not like they’re keeping score. Lighten up

Because an ace is from teepad to basket but a hole-in-one is different, they didn’t have any hole-in-ones but they definitely had aces.
So the first throw off the tee pad is a hole in one but the other throws that happened to go in are called an ace? I’m just asking to gain knowledge about this sport.
