This is my favorite Tachibana marching band video on UA-cam, followed closely by that famous 52-millions-views (as of Nov 2024) Tachibana at 大手筋 video. Here just everything, every aspect, is almost perfect.
It was during this year 2015, where this band earned their gold during the national competition under their DM Connie and that solo trumpetter which i forgot the name after almost 5 yrs , that boost again the moral of the band... so memorable!!
one of the finest but not the best. in this case small band always give clear sound compare to massive band. marching band not just about the sound quality.

I just love Kyoto Tachibana Marching Band. These are absolutely talented musicians and they should all be very proud of themselves. They are so in sync and disciplined I just can't say enough good about them! If I could I would give them all a million dollars. They deserve it. And they're only Seniors in High School. 🌿🇯🇵★★★★★🇯🇵🌿

Beautifully said. Applies to Tachibana, Waseda, Tamana, and Seika. See "Seika Girls In The Midst Of Youth #5," & "Seika Girls at the 2010 Midwest Clinic." The MC in Chicago is THE most prestigious venue in which a band can appear. Seika got 4 standing ovations there from an audience entirely of band directors.

Some of the 112th class including the Drum Major was recruited and invited once again to play as part of Kyoto Tachibana when KT was chosen by the Green Band Association to participate in their US tour Program in Anaheim California last 2018 (Pasadena Bandfest and Disneyland parade which they performed in the last week of December 2017 after Christmas and the Rose Parade last New year of 2018 and the Green Band Festival last January 2 of 2018) the 200 members of KT that went in the US are from the 112th,113th,114th,115th and the 116th class

@USA: I have been to Japan about 20 times so far, and it is my favorite Asian country to visit by far because of 99.9% of its people and their incredible hospitality.

The Rose Parade usually has a band from Japan every few years or so. Sometimes it's a regional Honor Band from a certain area of Japan, or other times it's a specific HS group, like was the case with Tachibana in 2012 and 2018, Seika Girls Senior High School (from Fukuoka) in 2006, Minami HS (from Nagoya) in 2014, and Toho Gakuen (Tokyo) in 2016.
What an absolute joy to have this find it's way into my Y.T. algorithm. I remember this from 2015 when it was shot. This parade was one day before the All Japan National Marching competition where they took Gold after two very disappointing previous years. Somewhere in here is our three "Home Stay" guests from the 2017-2018 Rose Parade / Disneyland trip. Wonder if anyone recognizes 2 or 3 percussionists at time 1:14 ?? The cutesiest part is at 7:08, lower right corner the 'little one' in the pink jacket, so into watching the Tall Flags or Color Guard. ". The band is ok 'mom', but I want to do the flags when I get older". Love these surprise visits from years past. Arigatou......
This video is good quality. The photographer has a good camera and good mic and is close enough to the kids that you can hear a lot of the individual players....and their mistakes. Reminding us they're indeed kids...and human. You don't really hear the mistakes when you hear the entire group as a whole, though, because there are so few of them. Parade marching is physically taxing. Anyone who's ever power walked a few miles at a brisk nonstop pace can tell you that it starts to catch up to you after awhile, and you have to be really deliberate with your breathing. Now imagine not being able to breathe how you want while doing this because the song requires you to maintain a constant sustained exhale. You actually start feeling oxygen deprived after awhile and it affects your performance. Add dance steps to that and you have an entirely new level of being physically winded while also being oxygen deprived (not to mention struggling to keep the instrument stable on your face while bouncing all around). These kids are in prime shape! (notice there's not a single overweight kid to be found).

Its very amazing those newbies are very little girls but dance and blow as good as their big sisters. For the next six years they entertain the world and newbies come every year. They have many reserve musicians to continue the kyoto tachibana legacy.

Впечатляет настолько что хочешь вникнуть в это и попробовать самому))) Каждый шаг , каждая точка , повторяют никто не отстаёт . Никто не забывает движения , это реально впечатляет . Сколько тренировок чтобы это сделать . Такой великолепный результат получился . В Азии люди серьезно относятся ко всему , потом когда вырастают становятся теми кто любит и уважает свою специализацию. 台湾の式典参加で彼女達を知り、いっぺんにファンになりました。
踊りももちろん凄いけど、肝心の演奏も確かなものですね。
しっかし、この時のスネアはすごい、聴いていてもの凄く気持ちいい。
今まで、彼女達の事を知らなかったなんて、人生を損した気分です。
小さい頃から見てきたので、橘って「私より大きなお兄ちゃんお姉ちゃんたちが格好良いパフォーマンスをしている！！」というイメージでしたが、今では私よりも若い子たちがメンバーなのかと思うととても尊くて、もっと応援したくなります（ ; ; ）今年成人します（笑）

In my opinion, they are absolutely the best band in the world. Today is March 12th 2022, I am a long-time fan.
And this was a Great intro, brass, reeds, intricate links too percussion. Very clean and solid sound blend.

@@1953jun現在のＫＴは音はオーケストラのようになりましたが、ジャンプや激しいステップを取り入れると音が不安定になってしまう。聴いていて高揚感が出ないのです。少人数でもこれだけ力強く不安定にならない。

自分が見てきた京都橘高校吹奏楽部の中では、最長のパレード隊です。（ローズパレードは200名で、10列縦隊。このパレードは100名で、2列縦隊。）こんなに長くても演奏バッチリ、演技バッチリ。京都橘高校吹奏楽部のエンターテイメント精神は、その演奏演技スタイルを問いません。いつ見ても涙が出てしまうのは、歳を取ったからでしょうか。

Смотрела их видео года 3-4 назад . Впечатляет настолько что хочешь вникнуть в это и попробовать самому)))
Каждый шаг , каждая точка , повторяют никто не отстаёт . Никто не забывает движения , это реально впечатляет . Сколько тренировок чтобы это сделать . Такой великолепный результат получился . В Азии люди серьезно относятся ко всему , потом когда вырастают становятся теми кто любит и уважает свою специализацию. Настолько всё слажено и гармонично сочетается .
