So glad you reviewed these. I ended up picking up Shredder and Ra's and while the articulation left something to be desired, I was so impressed by the style I ended up paying Ebay prices on all of them over the course of a year. Leo and Raph were double retail, but I picked up Donnie and Mikey for under half each (NIB) and they amazing as a set. I'm international, so I had no chance at the original releases

It is a shame that the quality of these figures does not match the current prices because their style is actually quite good. I semi-wish a toy company (not Super7) would take a shot at releasing these but with updated and more durable/pose-friendly engineering. Maybe in a few years, as apparently releasing every single possible iteration of TMNT is irresistible to toy companies. Also, I am here for it
As I said in the comments of one of the other videos, these were made by DCC (DC Collectibles) but offered through Game Stop at first, and they were better articulated figures than what DCC was doing most of the time. Would I mind other versions of these figures, possible from the comics the film was based on? Sure, but I don't know how likely that is at this point.
Totally agree with you that they are no worth the aftermarket price, and the articulation is bad, never the less, that Robin, as faulted as it is, is my favorite Robin figure ever, thank to Paul “God” Harding sculpt. By the way your videos have gotten waaay better, congrats!!!

Like how someone can come along and think certain figures I find amazing are kinda trash. Like me and my collector buddy are in our mid 40s, so we grew up with very limited articulated figures. We both started "adult collecting" in the '90s with POTF2 and Spawn. Neither one of us are ACBA types, but whenever I simply point out some figure has a lot more articulation than another, my friend gets defensive and says _"You're just spoiled! I don't need all that articulation! You want all your figures to be like contortionists, and have them suck their own dicks?!"_ Something along those lines, but a lot less refined, not to mention he can't really say the word contortionist. So I'm definitely not an articulation snob, but I'm also not like him where he doesn't have a problem with limited articulation. It's all about evolution, and some companies just take longer to evolve...or they don't at all, like Super7. So anywho, you (like some others) have me reevaluating figures I've never considered to have a problem with. And that's okay.
Yo, i was lucky to get all of them at gamestop at a closing sale. They were $25 a piece. I like they are stylish, articulation is weak, but they are lightly fun.

I bought this whole series at retail when they came out. I hate them. Aesthetically they're fine but articulation is pretty disappointing on some and the paint scuffs and marks up way too easily. They also feel like the joints will break. The only one I like and kept was the convention exclusive Michelangelo as Batman because it's cute, funny, and the soft goods Cjesim cape is rather nice. I dumped the rest at a toy-reseller shop and it's so weird to me several months later to see people really going gaga over this line. They photograph well, so maybe that's it. A good photographer on IG can put together a great shot to post. And to add insult to injury with this line, I never wanted any of the humans. I don't regret getting rid of them but I probably didn't extract the full value out of them when I sold them. Oh well.

The best Damien robin figure and I mean the ABSOLUTE BEST is from the DC essentials super sons 2 pack, best super boy Jon Kent figure also. Great vid Johnny 5🤘🏻🇨🇦🤘🏻

it is interesting. I think we are just in an age where they CAN articulate, so why not make them that way. granted, these figures are a bit older.
