Hi Steve , as usual there is a fair bit more thats been done by various other club life members. We had 2 meetings with NPWS , Council , Paul Skully & Ryan Park . NPWS was told by Skully , the now sitting planning minister, to work with the club to come to a solution, This wasnt done. So for safety reasons the club requested some sort of separation of motorbike riders & MTB riders needed to happen or accidents would occur , NPSW engaged surveys to find the true land boundaries. This is why there is a temp fence up. There has been a lot of skullduggery gone on by NPSW & the organising MTB riders that secretly lobbied for the area knowing full well WMCC used the land . However NPWS pushes on against its own policies of no MTBs in national parks. They also have a policy of no motorcycles on their land , but, if you take a look at the 4day enduro in 2014 , it was run with the blessing of NPWS around the Riverwood downs area & around the Avon NP around Dungog NSW .
