@@MichiganMade The minute I saw the train tracks and the Chrysler FWY, I knew exactly where You were.
But the giveaway was that train switch bldg to the right.
In the '70's that station was manned, I joined the Military and I cannot tell You when it went to automation.
All of the homes use to be the neighborhood watch. As a kid you could not get away with anything, this was both good and bad.
The neighborhood was a predominately Polish- Hungarian with some
Good times as a memory.
Foreman Park was a great hangout back then and allot of great games were played on that field.
But the Rouge was so polluted that we were told that we could not go down there. I/We made it to the collar of the support structure. We threw rocks/bricks/concrete chunks on top of each other to build a walkway.
Had we missed a step, that water plunge was a quick descent.
Just being a kid, I guess.
