I'm a support main and I for the life of my do not at all understand how or what I just watched happened in the second round there. Don't understand how Bap/Zen can keep you guys alive through such agressive play.
The way I understand it is that Zen makes them die more so you need less heals. Because they have less time to do dmg. Also well timed lamps and not missing a single Bap nade helps lol
@@tropiicul I mean zens 31hps on top of bap 60hps and his regen can add up to some really good numbers and of course immortality field.
Players at their level also dodge damage smartly. Not like peer gold players, when they low, they dive into enemies. After they die, they call healers dogshit.
@@pone2376 can't tell you how many times ive been called a trash ana for Nanoing only the capable people in my lobby. Sorry lvl 35 Reinhardt who uses Shift as his only damage option, i have more faith in the Hanzo who gets 2 picks every fight.
A lot of it is a resource and utility equation. Zen(or lucio) heals relatively little, and Bap CAN heal a bunch of the team plays in a tight group. You have several options: play for amp matrix, play to punish, or (if you have superior positioning) play for attrition. Bap Zen absolutely shreds barriers and the power of discord cannot be understated. Add in immortality field to the mix and you've got some kind of awful cancer that 8 times out of 10, makes Moira Lucio and Ana Lucio rush comp look and feel like an ant getting crushed under the foot of an immortal giant. Discord can facilitate a dive team just as well Amp matrix can facilitate hitscan, projectile, and spam. There's a lot of synergies left on the table that we will hopefully see less of when Bap is eventually corrected into the ground.

There's no doubt y'all two are OWL material.
There is more than just ability to play that goes into OWL but in skill and game sense they are both easily OWL material
You can’t just say somebody is owl material, skill isn’t everything, communication and team synergy are integral parts of and OWL team.
@@ninjabestpal2436 But that's only something you can develop through playing together. In regards to skill and game sense to be considered for a professional role, they both clearly qualify there.
@@scottwallbank4794 yes but that is as a tank duo, not with the rest of the team. What I mean is like maybe your on a mixed roster so it’s harder to communicate. Also, flats would have to get coaching to actually be owl material tbh. If you look at some of the worst main tanks in the league who don’t main reinhardt you will see that most of them could probably mtd flats

I feel like Cloudy is overrated. Definitely not the best Rein, MAYBE top 5, but def over hyped.
He was rank 1 NA and EU and domimates ladder... personally i dont think he is overrated. in this game flats does a great job of matching him and outperforming him which is partially why they win
