Hello Tor I've been saving this video as a Friday evening treat to watch with a little glass of wine. What a great tutorial - I love how you discover the brush and show us so many extra things - looking at it outside and really examining and uncovering it's uniqueness. I waited over a year to get hold of this brush - and I am someone who mostly uses cream products on my older skin. I even started to think: 'do I really need this brush as I am not a powder kind of lady' - HOWEVER it is one of my favourite brushes and I can't now be without it. It is my new trusty friend - a superb brush and as you say, it doesn't disturb the layers underneath. Worth waiting for. I haven't used it for bronzer etc as I felt it would pick up too much pigment but the beauty of this brush is that you can clean it off, add some translucent powder and it buffs away excess colour beautifully. I have Hourglass Dim Light and tbh I've never thought it was that great - the L Mercier Candlelight however looks so so pretty that I now have my eye on that. Thank you for a really enjoyable video - your style is wonderful. With love from the UK (not far from Croydon)!! xx
Hello Annie! Cheers! Clicking my cup of coffee with you glass of wine! 🥂 Yes this brush as been an elusive one and I'm glad I was able to get it when it got reincarnated. I look forward to getting to know it more. and yes this LM CandleGlow is a staple in my kit - a lot of my colleagues have them. Do check it out . Have a good one!
My Sonia g. and hakuhodo brushes are my trouble shooters.. lol like if some products are hard to pickup I always grab my goat hairs. Some makeup artist doesn't really understand how some product work.. they always say chanel blushes are not that pigmented.. but when I used my face two.. it's packed with more pigments.. hahaha you exactly know what I mean... I think you should do a blog on how to troubleshoot those products that have low reviews.. as a brush lover like you picking up the right tools is like going on a battle field.. we must always come equipped!! Love you new subscriber here!
If it comes to that, I’ll choose the Smooth Buffer over the Buffer Pro as the brush head fits in most blush/powder pans in a Palette - which I have lots in my collection. But other than that, I’ll very happy to have both.
This is one of my favorite brushes for my meteorites and for my blurring powder from Chantecaille! I just received my worker 3 brush that you recommended and the inochige pro brush and can’t wait to use them tomorrow morning 🤩 I really enjoy your reviews and your soothing voice!
Aw thanks! 😘 i’m glad to know you love this brush too. I should check Chantecaille out … 😉 I’m so excited to use the Buffer Pro for work. I’m sure it will be put through the test! Enjoy your new brushes! 🤗
@@dianaborra7649 Hello Diana - I have the blurring powder and the Goa bronzer! I haven't used Goa with this brush but it is wonderful for buffing the blurring powder in and using with my By Terry loose powder at the end of a look - esp if I've gone a bit far with my blusher application. I have the cheek gelee in the pink shade and the gold highlight which is very pretty :) x
@@tortorre that’s okay, do the one’s you have. No one shows us how to use these brushes like you do. I am awaiting the arrival of her Sheer Buffer, I want to get one of these and her Fundamental Eye Set next. Almost finish saving for the eye set.
Depends on what you want to use it for! I love the Buffer Pro for setting powders/loose powder application. And the smooth buffer for targeted application. I love the buffer pro. It lays product nicely on the skin.
@@tortorre Thank you! I use it for buffing setting powder and my hourglass powders but it looks small. So I was thinking of getting the buffer pro but then it would function the same 😅
@shielaarevalo5888 are your Hourglass products in a palette or in single packaging? Because if you use the palettes, the Smooth Buffer is a perfect size. If singles, the Buffer Pro is better suited for such packaging.
@@tortorre I have the palette and I do agree that the smooth buffer is the perfect size for it. I also have the givenchy prisme libre powders that I love to apply as an overall setting powder and I was wondering if I need the buffer pro for it since they have the same function as the smooth buffer just a different size.😆
Hello. If you only want to choose one, choose the Smooth Buffer. I have a small facial frame too and it fits well for me. You can use this to set powder too provided that you are not a “full coverage” type. 😉
Hello, I really enjoy your videos. I was thinking about using the buffer Pro for Mineral Foundation. Do you think it would be good for that or should I consider a different brush?
Thank you! I have watched a lot of reviews for Sonia G brushes and you are the only one who really gives a great review. I was telling my husband how I couldn't find a video from a makeup artist who would do a good review of fude. I'm so happy I found you@tortorre
Aw bless you! 🫶🏽 i am happy to hear that. Thank you so much for dropping by! Please let me know if you decide to get the Face Pro , and how it works for you! ❤️
I love how you share your knowledge and makeup expertise in a very easy way to understand.

Thank you for washing the brush first! You can't really judge a brush until it's been washed first.
I believe so as well.
Hi have you tried the buffer pro in applying a powder foundation? Does it give a full coverage? Thank you
Yes! I use it to apply the MAC Studio FX foundation powder when needed. It does the job well.
