- The crew lands in Denver to begin the grueling ride to Phantom Lake-and from the start, things go sideways. Mechanical challenges sideline two bikes, while stress pushes another ride to the edge, forcing the trip captain Brian Tome to make a difficult decision.

First: experienced riders only who are interested in a spiritual adventure, not the reverse. Great idea, but yikes. I'm a believer and a professional motorcycle coach.
I would have to agree. It is obvious that more training was needed and better vetting of not only the riders but the equipment. Leadership is far more then challenging your group. It involves proving the proper tools to achieve set goals. Bad things happen and it’s important to learn to get through it. Setting others up to fail is never a good idea.

I wish I was apart of the Phantom Lake team. I actually had a dream that I made it to Phantom Lake with Brian, Chuck and everybody else. ( Not lying ).
