Lesser known groups promote their songs for longer in hopes of spreading their name and gaining at least 1 more fan. They don't have the validation and security that popular groups do or the busy schedules that'd prevent them from promoting longer than 3-4 weeks And if you're truly passionate about your job, you'd be happy for being able to promote for so long and appear on music shows. People rather be busy than not, it gives them motivation and reason to get up each morning.

Lesser known groups gets their songs cut-off shorter and if their songs aren't topping the charts in the top 100, they lose their promotion gigs on music shows until they come back into the charts again. "Turn It On" is still in Top 100, I guess their company decided to let them perform since they don't have any other schedules.
