Use blueberries every day because a few years ago when I was a cashier a lady noticed I was wearing the copper gloves to help with carpal tunnel. She said eat blueberries every day. I was doubtful but tried it anyhow. After a few weeks I noticed carpal pain was gone. In my family my mom, dad, sister & son have had carpal tunnel surgery to varying degrees of success.

Suggestion: Cook oatmeal with water only first.... then add honey and your canned milk to desired thickness..that helps to cool the oatmeal down and it will not taste burned! Been doing this most of my 77 years!🙂

A tip for adding milk/cream, (if no micro available/or don't use them)
If your milk is very cold and/or your coffee is not super hot, add your milk to the cup first and the coffee poured in will create temperature equalization quickly warming the milk as you fill, lessening the cooling off of the coffee.
If your coffee is way too hot, pour your milk into the cup of coffee and this cools the coffee down more as a cold mass is added quickly. 🧐😎🤔😁
    Cheers ☕

When canning milk you MUST heat the canner very slow on very low heat to prevent that burnt taste sometimes the milk will also come out a bit tan in color if over heated to fast. LOW and SLOW is best!

I have a suggestion, maybe use water to cook the oatmeal, then use the milk chilled to add on top to loosen it up and see if it tastes bad.

Loved this...from the moment of apologizing since you hadn't had coffee yet, then comment about noisy Kurieg, sweet momma moments (even testing the temp with your lips first before giving bite to daughter) to well, everything! Lol. All relatable in my opinion. Anyways, I use my home canned milk in many things but favorite it Mac n Milk. I grew up in 70's eating macaroni pasta, canned milk, butter and salt n pepper. Almost a soup consistency. To this day we eat it, but using my home canned milk. ♡ Thanks for your vids. I found you about 6 months or so ago. First time commenting tho ♡

I use steel cut oats. Takes longer to cook but I think better for you. I cook up a weeks worth & put in the refrigerator. Take out about 1/2 cup & warm in microwave then add about 12 blueberries, 3 dates, about 1/2 banana, a few slices of free dried strawberries & cream & 1spoon of brown sugar or honey.
Of course with my coffee, Carmel flavor & heavy cream (must have the heavy body of the cream😁)

I did a powdered milk experiment with the kids. I didn't tell them because I wanted an honest response. They hated it as a fresh milk replacement. They had no idea I used it when it was mixed into a recipe like mashed potatoes or pancakes.

I wonders about that "neat little do-icky".... does it bend the lid when you remove one? I reuse lids and, so, I use a teaspoon to gently remove the lid without damage.
I have to look into the value of canning milk instead of buying already canned milk.
I wouldn't consider it a fail. You need to find out how to can the milk without "cooking" it.
