Fireplace Heat Mover

Homemade vent system to move heat from a wood-burning fireplace to the rest of the house. I used a bathroom fan, some duct work, and a wall vent to take the heat from the living room to the upstairs.

Im about to do the same but use an existing duct to channel the heat. My only concern is the fan needs to be quiet otherwise it’s a fail for me since this is the room we watch TV in.

I have this exact model. It was in the home when purchased. I can't find any info about it. Do you have the Manufacturer info, model, etc. for me to look up information? My grandson dropped a plastic toy behind the right vent. Do you know how to remove the right front panel so that I can remove it? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. KZ

Doesn’t look like her connected the ductwork TO the fireplace. It pulls heat from the ceiling and moves it upstairs via a duct.

Yeah, just pulls the heat from the ceiling
