A beautiful and peaceful place to go camping Serge. Looks like there was a bit of Whaling history here. We recently went to Eden where we learned about the whaling history there, to think we nearly brought these whales to extinction saddens me. There is only three countries that do whale fishing these day Japan, Finland and Norway. Love the Camp Ground. Enjoy your time at the Rivière Ouelle 🙏🏽🤗👍🏽❤

You see now why we love this place . Yes very sad about all the whales 🐋 that died in the older days …can’t image that those 3 countries don’t stop hunting them .😢🥴 This was captured the week of June …this was my last video I did there next week returning to our 84 days road trip which is still not finished 🤪

We usually stay a complete week here we love being against the St Lawrence river and these wild roses smells like crazy good 🤪

What a beautiful place. The views were so magnificent. Loved the various rock formations. The flowers and beach views were incredible. The campground looks really peaceful and awesome too. 👍

Yes it’s really a peaceful place we discovered this place 3 years ago and since then we came every years even last year we came twice 🤪.There’s also a lot to discover around there . It is a lovely walk on the shoreline of the Riviere ouelle and nice capture of the gorgeous area with lots of history and interesting interpretive signs. I love the wild roses bushes everywhere 😍. Not a bad area and I didn't realise you were so close to the water from the camp grounds 👍❤️. Nice job with the Sony A74 too 👏 👍. Yes this campground is just beside the river but there’s a lot more sites at a upper level and at least 100 for sure if not more and it’s for people staying all summer most of them . This lower level is for people passing a day or more but not for the season . We love to be there because we are close to the river and Hélène dosent have to walk to much to go and see the sunsets. As you saw probably about 6 weeks ago I had dust on my sensor so this video was at the same time so you can see the dust very well . Those round spots on the rocks are very strange and that legend of the " Jongleuse " is strange also 🤪 They say it’s her footsteps 🤣
Hope you had a good trip to Canada and that you are resting a good night sleep we will FaceTime when you are ready no rush 😉👍

As you know we love this place since we passed for the first time in 2020 in august and since then we come every year. The wild roses the river and mountains in afar is what keeping us from coming with the sunsets.

I can enjoy camping site in eastern region of Canada! It is really beautiful area and I think camping site facilities look so nice than here:)

This campground also have a couple of hundred places to camp which are on a higher level so less close to the river .
We have been also camping in Alberta and British Columbia and they do have nice campgrounds also .

Oui effectivement tu comprend maintenant pourquoi ça fait 3 ans qu’on retourne là et c’est pas loin de Kamouraska qu’on aime beaucoup. Rivière Ouelle fait partie aussi de la grande région de Kamouraska. Il y a tant de choses à voir et visiter dans ce coin . J’avais des poussières sur mon capteur dans cette vidéo que j’avais fait fin juin comme dans les autres 4 vidéos que j’avais télécharger en juillet je crois . Pour la jongleuse je crois que tu t’es trompé ce n’est pas des " portes " …Lol! 🤣🤣🤣 mais bien des " pas "

Thanks for coming over Jennifer and glad you enjoyed the area . What I love the most is the wild roses all along the river you can smell them just by walking along them . Hélène doesn’t walk much because of her sore knee so she stays at the camping trailer and does knitting 🧶 as you saw at the end of the video . This was at the end of June when we passed a week .
There’s a legend about those rocks formations looks like the round spots are the footprints of the " La Jongleuse " she is like a witch 🧙♀️ and supposedly she does harm to the sailors.

I was hopping to read you since last Friday because I knew you would love this calming video so glad you did my dear friend 🥰😉👍This river is so big that it does look like the sea which is also close and have tides also . The smell of the wild roses is everywhere you walk along there . There’s a legend about those round spots on the rocks formations they say it’s the footprints of " La Jongleuse " like a witch 🧙♀️ that used to do harm to the sailors…
Now you know why we have been in love with this area for the past three years . This was captured on the last week of June 2022 . I have another video out this morning the continuation of our 84 days road trip . There should be over 20 more coming 🤪😉👍

Hello Serge, look, there are spots on your lens or your sensor (a dot on the top left and on the right). Maybe blow it away with a bellows or a sensor cleaning? A nice report as always. When the roses have formed hips, I collect them for my gray parrot and my son's cockatoo and freeze the hips. They love getting a rosehip every day.

@@SergeCousineau No, the parrots don't eat the rose petals, they eat the red fruits. I may have mistranslated. In German they are called "Hagebutten" so in August I collected a large bucket full and froze them. Every parrot gets 1 in the morning. But the birds in nature also love them for the vitamins. Enjoy the day. Harald

Bonjour Hélène et Serge ce petit coin que vous adorez nous permet avec tes explications de connaitre votre Histoire et un peu de légende . encore une belle démonstration de ta SONY et son efficacité pour le rendu des images c'est impressionnant j'ai eu peur que tu t'arrètes chez le dépanneur pour prendre une Molson 😅😅🍺🍺🍺🍺beau partère de fleurs le long du Saint Laurent merci pour ce petit morceau du Québec .Nous sommes à la pointe extrème de L'EUROPE à Sagres pour environ deux semaines , la Wifi passe bien nous espèrons que tous va bien pour vous nous pensons bien à vous Bises NICMIC 🥰🥰😍😍.

Vous comprenez maintenant pourquoi on adorent ce coin du Québec paisible jolie et les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques.
C’est pas d’aujourd’hui les chicanes entre français et anglais , il y en a eu des morts à cause que les anglais voulaient s’approprier du territoire du nouveau monde 😡😢 J’avais les mains pleine donc je ne pouvais pas entrer dans le dépanneur mais aussitôt arrivé à la roulotte je m’en ai ouvert une bonne froide …t’inquiète j’en manque pas une …une Budweiser 🤪🍻 Les rosiers sauvage sentent tellement bon on a même pas besoin de s’en approcher ils sentent de loin . On vous souhaite un merveilleux séjours à Sagres et on penseras à vous 👩❤️👨 Nous allons très bien , les arbres ont commencé à changer de couleurs et les nuits sont fraîches .
Bientôt un an qu’Hélène attend pour un nouveau genoux , nous avons une connaissance qui a subit l’opération et tout vas super bien pour elle c’est encourageant!

@@SergeCousineau Merci pour tes bons mots pour Hélène , ma belle-mère avait subi cette opération et cela lui avait permis de retrouver sa mobilité je vois que le problème des hôpitaux au Québec est le même quand France .Bises a tous deux NICMIC
La situation dans les hôpitaux s’en pire de plus en plus …faut pas être malade ni pressé ! Ce matin nous avons notre première gelée au sol …tout est blanc ! Jour d’élection au Québec nous on a voté par anticipation la semaine passée. Bonne semaine 👩❤️👨

Jolie région, tu avais déjà réalisé une vidéo lors de votre précédent séjour. Beaucoup de fleur sauvages . J’espère que vous n’avez pas croisé la jongleuse 😂 Beau week-end à vous deux 👍😉😢
Oui effectivement Luc ça fait 3 années consécutives que nous y allons et que je fait des vidéos de ce coin de paradis du Québec. Les rosiers sauvages pleuvent dans ce coin et de plus les odeurs sont sentie de partout où l’on vas . Tu as manqué le "Festival de la Galette " à Saint-Eustache la semaine passée…moi j’ai adoré ce festival ..j’avais filmé avec ma Sony A7IV et mon stabilisateur de DJI le RSC2 …un peu lourd vers la fin de]u tournage mais la qualité valait les efforts. Une atmosphère festive partout où j’allais et des gens costumés d’époques c’était magique !

@@SergeCousineau Salut Serge, j’ai bien repéré ta vidéo sur le festival de la Galette, mais pour la visionner, il faut que j’aie un espace temps suffisant, elle fait près de 30 minutes si je me souviens bien. ⌛️😅Ce sera intéressant car on y voit un peu la vie local, autrefois 👍😉🇧🇪
@@lucwarnier Oui c’est certain qu’elle est longue mais le festival avait tellement à offrir que j’ai décidé de vraiment montré tout les recoins pour avoir une vraie immersion! Tu peux l’écouter en section de 3 minutes …Lol !🤣🤣🤣
Tu verras des anciens costumes d’époque …des soldats français et anglais etc …
