- Some of you might have heard of the 'Kotzkurve' (vomit curve) at EDDB/BER Berlin airport. It's an SID (Standard instrument departure) from runway 07R which requires an early right turn shortly after departure.
Here you can see the pilots perspective of this departure with explanation.
Taken from the cockpit of an Airbus A321ceo.
Feedback is always appreciated, so if you have any ideas, suggestions etc, just let me know.
Thanks you very much.
Thank you very much! No vomitting necessary!😃
Nice! This view should be played on video to passengers.
That's a good idea. 😅👍🏻
This is epic! Beautiful video ❤
Thank you very much. 💪🏻
Thank you for this impressive footage. When departing from Tokyo HND on RWY 34R, you make a right turn that looks quite similar. You begin at about 600ft and make a 110 DEG turn to the right in order to avoid flying over the city centre of Tokyo.
Yss, several airports have similar turns after departure. Flew that turn at HND myself with the 747-8 💪🏻
Nice video. I would have preferred the original cockpit sound rather than the crap music.
I know, but I am not allowed to share the sound from the cockpit as our conversation would be audible too and I'm not allowed to share that. Hence that crappy music.
