I've created this method for myself when I was 16 (18 years ago) and just started teaching. It's great to suddenly find out that I'm not alone :) It is nicely combined with gestalt psychology approach that I'm practicing now

How about describing it as a "communication-driven" pedagogy? Communication encompasses both 'conversation and text', doesn't it? - and it's in line with your quote of Allwright regarding 'communication being the major element in language learning' What do you think?

Yeah because a text can be either written or spoken. In other words, Output in general.
