  • The " Tintamarre " is an Acadian tradition of marching through one's community making noise with improvised instruments and other noisemakers, usually in celebration of National Acadian Day. The parade finished at the Island ( l’Île-aux-Puces ) at " Le Pays de la Sagouine " and joined several hundred others that were waiting . Together everyone began singing and spent the afternoon dancing and celebrating their Acadian Heritage .
