If we’re being honest Tim should’ve never lost the fight. It was a bad call by the doctor, the referee, Tim’s corner. According to Stitch Duran, the renowned cutman that cut on the area of his scalp and head has a large vein located there. A cut man can’t stop the bleeding in that circumstance. His corner should have said they can’t continue prior and up to rd 4 for a “ no contest” or the ref stop the fight after and go to the scorecards. There’s no way Fundora who had a broken nose by round 2 and was staggered as well would have beaten an uninjured Tszyu. This fight should be reviewed by the governing bodies and an immediate rematch be ordered!
Tszyu could have been knocked out too if that cut hadn't happened....you can't predict a sport where one punch can change everything.

Fundora tried to jab in the first 2 rounds and couldn't connect. The cut changed the fight
Tim broke his nose round 2. If he had not sustained that cut that nose would of gotten battered and Fundora would of been forced to quit as Tim didn't really hit him clean in the nose the rest of the fight. Theoretical only but all of Tzsyu last fights indicate that would of been the case. However, nothing surprises me in Vegas anymore and that from a boxing in fan in Australia!! LOL... There are holes in the Tszyu camp though in the Team where in Vegas or US in general got to know the game a lot better. He would be better served bringing on a US counterpart in there team as no limit boxing is no match for the promoters in the US, no disrespect to no limit boxing but there was some very rookie moves done over there in the US. I was born in the US so I know how they roll...!!!

I get the meaning of the 'dog' as used in this context, but don't think it won't get you into a fight here in Australia. Calling someone a dog here has a completely different meaning and will probably get you into a fight. Calling someone a 'dog' is prison slang for a police informant - a "copper's dog." I wouldn't advise it! 🤣

When I first saw the name of this review I was very angry because in Australia Dog has a very different meaning so I was glad to watch it so you could clear up for me what it was about
Tim was breaking Sebastian down before cut ,I think rematch will be Tim's to own ,but much respect to Sebastian he fought the perfect fight plan in that situation 👏 👍 😉
Everyone needs to watch the first two rounds again, Tszyu was dominating Fundora, like owning him.
The doctor should have stopped it. No need for blood baths in this day and age, whats the point having a ring side doctor? Tim was losing a lot of blood and it could have ended really bad. Remember boxers can and do die in the ring. I believe tims corner should have stopped it but you have to ask the question why the ref and a medical professional didnt call a holt to the fight? No excuses from anyone theres a reason why we don't see these type of fights anymore.
Yea Tzyu is an absolute dog to fight like that for 10 more rounds. I told my bro he reminded me of cactus Jack from wrestling. But Fundora a tough bastard himself. He fought with a broken nose for like 9 rounds and that blood was pouring like a fountain at times.
But PBC doing the Australian screw job with this one. They won’t give Tzyu an immediate rematch for sure. And fundora may lose those belts by the time they can rematch.

I thought the judging was off. Tszyu won rounds 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12. 115-113. Anyone actually scored it?
I see it the same as others, if there was no cut, they would have had to stop the fight by the 8th for the sake of fun bags dora. his nose was about to fall off, his blood was free flowing by the 3rd anyhow. , It's hard to get under his armpits and give him the, stop the fight kidney shots that Tim was looking for. that % was much better than trying to reach the head .. It did show fundora has a soft face, suspect a jaw to match.
Every body’s talking about Tim not going to the body if you close your left eye the distance is not easy to judge he was blinded by blood to fight 10 rounds and lose buy a split decision that’s shows you his skill level to stay in a world class fight now if he had two clear vision the result would of been completely different he will be back and much hungrier

The lure of a super fight was to much. His team let him down 100%. A good cut man knows 1) that cut aint stoppung. 2) Tim gonna be fighting with double vision as well as blood in his eye. .Should of been called. No point dying just to prove your tough.

From my prospective Tim took on the bout on short notice, that was his decision.
Point 1. Was the supposed arm injury of the Booked opponent actually factual or was this a SET Up by the BIG MONEY end of town to get Tim on TOAST in a last minute manipulation to test Tim's inexperienced Team ... Tim made the CALL which he has in good faith admitted.
Point 2. Up to the point of the head injury would you agree Fundora was suddenly in NO DOUBT he was in a FIGHT.
Point 3. Would you not agree that once blood started to pour from the head wound into Tim's eyes that the whole direction of the fight was changed NOT BY BOXING SKILLS but by chance.
Point 3. Based on suggestions from a World renown Cuts Man that the area of the head cut/injury was a massive cross roads of veins and for the inexperienced Corner Cuts Man or DOCTOR to deal with in the best interest of the injured, therefore would you not agree that on the basis of this evidence... that the appointed RING Doctor should be questioned seriously on HIS Knowledge of this specific injury and Competence to adjudicate.
Point 4. Would you not agree that post the accidental elbow injury, Tim Fundora appeared to be handed the role of Cherry Picker of the Head Injury.
Point 5. Would you not agree that despite the constant blood flowing into Tim's eyes that at the end of the BOUT Fundora's FACE looked like a pack of Pit Bulls had feasted on his face!!!.
Point 6. ARE you not the slightest bit PUZZLED that FUNDORA WAS GIFTED THE DECISION.... by the ringside HOME judges... No doubt they also have heaps of Photos they love to sit in front of as some sort of credentials.
The Referee, the Ring Dr, the Judges, you and many others have a LOT TO ANSWER FOR

In the fight game anything can happen, perhaps that is why Team Ennis trains to fight, as opposed to training for a particular fighter. Tim Tszyu was "too" sure of himself - which cause him to look past Fundora, who used his jab as a means of defense instead of the high guard, and by doing so he was able to out score Tszyu. Leading with the head is not how an elite boxer attacks....js
