Then you see the flashback of their team planning to chose Cho Won's team "The one's who were chosen last." One of the girls says "I feel really bad but it can't be helped" and then they start laughing. At 2:51 Hye Won says she thinks they got picked because they were a bit lacking. When they're walking up the stairs and start crying they're saying thing like they felt hopeless and one of the Japanese girls says it's the first time she's felt like going back to Japan. When the host asks what's wrong they say they don't think they'll be able to do that song. They are pretty much all younger and have the cute type of image and style and Boombayah is a tougher song with rapping. The host tells them that having the resolve to accomplish something will make people watching appreciate their determination and maybe affect the votes which are unpredictable. He finishes with "believe in yourselves, and be strong." Erii says she'll do her best. video end. Cho Won's team ends up winning the song battle. Cho Won really pulls up the team and jumps in popularity, impresses people with her vocals in the next battle and just misses the cut off to debut by making an impressive rise from rank 88 to finishing at 13. Hye Won's original image was innocent but she took the rap part in this song and in the next song she chose another rap part for herself. She actually ranked at 8 by the end and made her debut.

Since this is a survival show, team 1’s actions are kinda understandable, but it’s true they weren’t very nice. They were overconfident thinking they would win because they had a lot of Koreans (idk why they would think that but ok) and when their team’s members got more votes one of them even stood up laughing and said ‘thank you’ like they had already won IN FRONT OF THE OTHER TEAM. Although this is a survival program, I feel like they created a bad image of themselves to the viewers by ‘bullying’ the weaker, less skilled team (although I guess you shouldn’t really call this bullying, the editing made it seem like that), when they really just wanted an easy opponent to defeat (which also came across as bully-like or dirty play to the viewers).
