- And we are back again to another weekly video where today i melt down a heap of old Ballasts given to me by a friend . I recon this Bar is definitely the best mirrored on I've ever done. It took me about 2 hours just in sanding for the finish on this bar but it was well worth it. Now sit back relax and enjoy todays video and i hope to see you all next week.

Now Guys if you Feel like supporting the channel it wont cost you a cent as you can Simply just donate some of your time. By just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways and more treats for the dogs👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻😁👍🏻.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Mirrored Ballast Bullion - Trash To Treasure - ASMR Metal Melting - BigStackD Casting Bronze
Hey guys how are you all today? Good I hope. Today I meltdown a heap of old ballasts that I got from my friend. I make an awesome mirrored bar definitely my best so far as well as a little aluminium bronze mirrored baby bar. Now Sit back relax and enjoy and I'll see you all hopefully next Friday😁👋🏻
😇💛💛😇
Привет где тут 500$ разыгрывают?
My day is good so far thank you. I love the videos you make and it always makes my day better. Keep it up my man.😁😁😁😎😎😎
Hi, please consider recording your videos in 4K. Thanks.
Great thing :)
Yeah. Definitely one of the best shines I’ve ever seen on a poured bar. Beautiful.
Let's see how many subs I get from this comment.........
Idk if u see me in the comments on ur video cuz there is so many but do a silver half dollar album fill
I come from one of your videos Rob and see you again 😆
Hi Rob 🤙
Hey rob! I see you watch bigstakd!
I love how he is helping the environment and making beautiful bars at the same time.
Just a reminder to always discharge the capacitors before working on them. They may still hold a charge and you could get a good shock from them.
PSRRRT! bzzzz! POP! AAAH!
The quickest way is to short them. Instant discharge, instant satisfaction.
I remember my Father using some foreign language when one popped on him one time,
You should be able to get a couple bucks for those capacitors. Just sayin.
How I do this safely?
My wife and I absolutely love your channel, it's a weekly ritual for us. Also... PLEASE... Never show your face and never talk! We love the BigstackD Character!! #KeepTheMysteryAlive
I love how he takes so much care to wear his mask in any reflections on the metal surfaces. Yes I love a mystery. But it is possible to find pics of the man himself. One of my favourite content creators. I loved the challenges between him, VOG and ArtbyAdrock.
Actually Louw Claassens i’d be very curious as to what pictures you have of me as there shouldn’t be any on the Internet or any other social media pages🤔
Found on social media. No biggie. If you have a PM I could tell you where the leaks are. 😅
Yeah I’ve seen a few photos that say they’re me and they’re sadly not me🤦🏻♂️Hit me up on my email with the links mate and I’ll definitely let you know if any of them are actually me👍🏻 . I would be so curious to see these pics😆

Ahh!! Tiny knife, tiny crucible, tiny bar!! Both bars came out spectacularly - that smooth, shiny finish is beautiful! Look forward to these videos every Friday!! Love from the US!
Not sure if I enjoy the doggos being pet, the food discoveries or the melting the best. Thank you for providing a a completely entertaining and different break from the norm.....
Awesome video! Those bars are definitely white glove worthy. The steaks were huge, socks were colorful, dogs were cute, beer was cold and melt was awesome. Great video and hope that crazy high heat lets up some time soon! 👍
Sir please help me
I love how you can hear the pups tussling/playing at the end off camera.
gotta say, these have gotta be some of the most satisfying videos on my feed in a good while.
👊🏻😁
It's so cool that there's a new video every friday, really something to look forward to over the week 👍👍👍😊
Let's see how many subs I get from this comment.........
@@sapphire5475 I don't know, how many subs do you want to get from it?
@@sapphire5475 why would you get subs for making a comment about wanting subs lol
And another step closer to the 1000kg of metal. I love the videos so far and I know there are a lot more people that think this way to. Keep going to reach your goal because if you don't give up you will succeed.👌
Let's see how many subs I get from this comment.........
OH MY, SPARKLES! I just love sparkles! Fantastic melt and shine!
I literally fall asleep too these vids they are so satisfying I love it keep it up
The reflection in the bar got me good!
That bar was definitely a beauty 👌 awesome video as always
Best source of hidden snacks, dogs, classical music, pop culture and awesome socks on the internet.
You are right BigStackD, that aluminium bar is one of your gorgeous pieces.
Hell yeah! Early post!
This man's sock game is always on point.
Sartorial splendor 😌
I love this channel, so nice to see the bars made!
Those 2 bars are muSeeum pieces, they needed to be on a special pedistal in your collection, very very beautiful
11:40 You can look at it forever. oh, I dream of starting to make such bars from coins myself. while we're watching.
Yaaaaawn It’s 4:30am here in New Brunswick. Time for coffee and a melt before work☕️🐶🐶
lol funny I live on the border with new brunswick here in maine, and it is the same time if I go 1/2 down the road from me lol. but this 1/2 makes it and hour behind you lol
Great work as usual, every thing about your videos is cool and gets cooler every video.
Cheers mate 🍻
Man I'm addicted to this channel.
Always watch before sleep 😴.
That Slag gave me a case of serious slagarrhea but hey, Those are the most beautiful mirrored bars I've seen. Amazing job again D!
Effortlessly poking that piece of round bar through the aluminum wires belongs in the r/oddlysatisfying subreddit.
No BigSnackD this week, this week it’s BigSteakD, and they look delicious 🤤
This video is exactly what I needed to see. It had a little bit of everything I love
Why didn’t you send me one of those steaks? 🤣 they look delicious but I still think the kangaroo we cooked was better 👍🏻
sus
Those were cooked beyond recognition!
Time for you to return down under mate
Definitely overcooked
I love the way one of the boys drools for the yogurt drops! At first he turns down the cucumber, then decides to take it if that's all he's going to get, then when he gets the yogurt drop - helloooo!
Yeah a lot of people think these dogs have been forced into being vegetarians🤦🏻♂️!!!! All animals need meat to survive and these two little Frenchies Get 2 big bowls of meat every day whether it be boar , Lamb, kangaroo, turkey or just plain beef steak cubes. I give them yoghurt drops and salad as a treat in between meals because their digestive systems are so crazy sensitive but it’s so funny how many people abuse me saying I had the nice burger I had a nice chicken I had a nice steak and the dogs only had veggies and salad and that I’m so selfish not sharing🤦🏻♂️.
@@bigstackD Nevermind those keyboard warriors. Anyone can see those dogs are getting top-notch care.
Hey D, both the tiny and the large ingots looked shiny and absolutely beautiful! I think the aluminum one may have been the best I've ever seen or at least comes in in the top 3.
When the stator went rolling down the driveway and into the street, it cracked me up for some reason. That meat you cooked looked delicious. I've seen people comment on this video and others that you overcooked your meat. I don't understand how people feel justified to make a statement like that, especially when it's a matter of opinion. I prefer all of my meat very well done. To each his own, I guess.
Finally, I enjoyed the footage of the boys playing at the end. Thanks for another great watch, and I'll see you again next week. Take care and try to stay cool. I'm dreading a large snowfall starting tonight and all day tomorrow. I think I hate it as much as you hate the heat.💙✌️
Well done is the way to go.
@@kornaros96 without a doubt! 💯✌️
Whenever there is cooking, it’s a good video!
G’day BigStackD,
Those bars are really impressive! As was your BigSnackD 🤤👌🏻
I’m really enjoying these videos on a Friday 👍🏻
Very nice to watch all of your industrious activities!! Thank you Brother!!
i think my favorite part of these videos is watching you look for your food when it's time for lunch. that was some satisfying stuff watching the transformer windings get pushed into the crucible. 14:16 is that a 2 part mold?
Loving the new cinematography tricks and that mirror finish is outstanding
Awesome video! Coffee and BigstackD has turned into my Friday morning thing. Ingot says he is a star now, he wants the good food. 😂
I love your videos! You are the king 👑 of melts! Blessed 🙏 forever a legend!
I love when the metal does the crumbly thing when you poke it with your poky stick. It's my favorite part
Bigstakd I just want you to know you are a master cook 👨🍳
Love watching you work, always amazing! I've noticed that you haven't used much Borax lately, is that because you are able find metals to melt that are more pure, or is it happening off camera?
This is like stumbling upon a chaos magician's workshop and having them walk you through an entropy ritual.
This guy has the most diverse sock collection
Great stuff man, you got me into copper melting, have you ever tried to pour copper over chicken wire,? i wanna try form a hand from it. sry for bad english Im from Sweden =D
Let's see how many subs I get from this comment.........
@@sapphire5475 I saw your comment on another video
Your English is good 👍 :D
You poking holes in the hot aluminum wrappings was the most satisfying thing I've seen all day.
Most slag, greatest shine, the boys watching TV, and quite a record temperature for the garage, what a successful video 😁. And very warming to see those thick socks, I'm using the same kind, but in winter with below 0 temperatures 😆.
For one melt, I'd like to see a pile of capacitors cracked open and the metals inside melted down. Once you crack open the outer shell (usually aluminum for heat sink) you'll find two sheets of conductive metal separated by a dielectric material, such as paper, glass, ceramic, or simply just air. The conductive metals can be a range of materials from platinum, silver, copper, and sometimes gold. Plating usually isn't done as electrolysis will usually strip it off and short the capacitor.
I love how clearly you can see Dallas in it. One of your best shines
I was thinking "Man he's going to get so much copper from those coils". Turned out those ballets were probably an El Cheapo product.
Still always love watching the melts at lunchtime on Friday.♥️👍
Love the knife/box cutter and the grass fed beef looked so delicious.
I’m a simple man.. you give the pups a treat and a scratch.. instant like from me.
Gotta love these cooking segments!
Ah yes, tiny Damascus knife, glad to see another weilder. I have the little butcher knife. Great melt today, I always liked how the slag floats up and gets scooped. Cheers🍺!
20:31 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I Neeeeeeed a medic bag!
this copper bar looks like pure gold
Wow that's 1 of the best shines I've seen yet
Wow that bar is shiny 👍
Yes! You are wearing the best joker of all time!
Love these videos, it's the best for zoning out and thinking about my day, it's honestly therapeutic.
Glad you like them Matt👊🏻😁. cheers for the super thanks buddy I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend👍🏻
Those are the cutest little dogs on the internet
I find myself envious on how tidy you keep your shop area.
I think that every time I watch.
Another great video. The tiny bar is absolutely adorable and so is the #1 crucible you used to melt. I enjoy seeing Ingot and Bullion, adorable doggos.
Looking forward to the next video.
16:15 That rotor " I am sick of being used , I'm out of here , good bye ! "
I arrived to see another wonderful video
Legend has it, that rotor is still rolling to this day
Perfect finish! 👏👌
Oh yeah the finished product is splendid, but I love the dollars the high grade steel the transformers have in them, that it brings me.
Oh yeah, the aluminum bar was amazing... actually, they both are. 😀
The doggos getting petted and fed healthy treats is still one of my fav parts.
I can almost see you adopting another french bullie, and naming him Nugget.
today bars are very shiny and very beautiful good job
The most wholesome no clickbait channel their is. Been a while since I've seen melt Mr Bigstack. I have some catching up to do
Bullions are back on the menu! Love your videos man, it`s so relaxing to watch you at work
One of the best one yet
Couldn’t be happier that a new video is realeased on my 23rd birthday
Slag skimming is my favorite part.
This is the earliest I’ve ever been for a video
BEAUTIFULY MIRRORED!!!
Great shine to some good work !! Love the pups !
That's a sweet little bar!! Liked how the motor rolls as far away as possible, jeesh...lol
Great work bigsnackD... now I have to go and raid the fridge and I'm holding you personally accountable! :P
the ash and dirt in slag can make a good aggregate for concrete if you're ever thinking about replacing those bricks you knock your ingots onto. idk how well the slag from nonferrous metals will work but it'd be neat to see
Every Friday I watching your video❤️❤️
The boot flinging is the funniest part lol. Good melts love the vids. Keep flinging those boots
ayo the copper bar is busting no cap
I always want to start melting after watching these videos. Things I'll need first, though:
-A house
-All the equipment
-A place to get scrap
Other than that, I'm ready to go!
Another really nice SHINY piece for your collection! Keep it up!
Great job! You really are close to your goal. I found you back when you had about half as much as you do now. I have really enjoyed watching you grow the stack. You are one of my favorite UA-camrs. Thanks for all the enjoyable videos. I'm wondering what you plan on doing after you reach the goal. I hope you keep on doing something with the channel but I also would understand if you decided to do something different. Your videos bring a few minutes of peace into my life and I really enjoy that. Take care and keep up the good work my friend.

Gotta say I love when you don’t have to cut the copper out and can just muscle it out, so much more satisfying
Let's see how many subs I get from this comment.........
I'm going to fly to Australia just to pet those handsome pooches.
Now that's a good looking bar 👍
Such mighty warriors battling for the safety of the concrete! Who will win?!
Man, I really feel for you in that heat. That is some serious temperatures.
My only complaint is that I don't have smell-taste-o-vision for those beautiful steaks! How dare me! 😀
I hope you and yours have a wonderful one! Thank you for another awesome video!
Thanks for the Idea on how to find the coldest brew!
The Videography perfection is as interesting as the demolition, melting, pour and polishing! That carousel effect is very satisfying 😌.
No way these videos are "spur-of-the-moment ", off the cuff.
To you, Sir I have the greatest admiration! Do you script these? There has to be a lot of planning before and editing after.
Then there's the humor and personal expressions such that watching your videos is a beautiful masterclass 😍 👌
Cheers Matey , Editing is the longest part of this whole process and can sometimes take me 15-20 hours to do a 25 minute video. I don’t script it but when I’m filming the melts sometimes I’ll see an angle that I can get or just see an idea that might look good on film so I always take a lot of extra footage and that’s why it’s such a long process after filming as I might have three or four hours of footage I need to compress down to 20 minutes.
Before I start any melt I will play it out in my head what I’m gonna do how I’m gonna do it what I’m gonna use but I don’t actually write it all down it’s just anyway semi scripted in my head👍🏻
@@bigstackD You do such great work! Thank You!
I liked that little copper bar.
Good job mate! Definitely one of your best for sure. 😍😍😍💙💙💙
Outstanding sir 👌👍 Top notch on the polishing 🍻🍻
that trick with the screw was nice
I think it would be cool as hell for you to do a treasure hunt involving clues embedded within your videos each week as a monthly thing. That would be great fun trying to find a copper skull buried somewhere. 👍 if you agree folks? Cheers Y’all.
You're a master, is the most beautiful bronze bar I've ever warched.
Ingot doesn't like anything that is vegetables 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Greetings 🖐🏻💪🏻
