  • And we are back again to another weekly video where today i melt down a heap of old Ballasts given to me by a friend . I recon this Bar is definitely the best mirrored on I've ever done. It took me about 2 hours just in sanding for the finish on this bar but it was well worth it. Now sit back relax and enjoy todays video and i hope to see you all next week.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

All animals need meat to survive and these two little Frenchies Get 2 big bowls of meat every day whether it be boar , Lamb, kangaroo, turkey or just plain beef steak cubes. I give them yoghurt drops and salad as a treat in between meals because their digestive systems are so crazy sensitive but it’s so funny how many people abuse me saying I had the nice burger I had a nice chicken I had a nice steak and the dogs only had veggies and salad and that I’m so selfish not sharing🤦🏻‍♂️.

Hey D, both the tiny and the large ingots looked shiny and absolutely beautiful! I think the aluminum one may have been the best I've ever seen or at least comes in in the top 3.
When the stator went rolling down the driveway and into the street, it cracked me up for some reason. That meat you cooked looked delicious. I've seen people comment on this video and others that you overcooked your meat. I don't understand how people feel justified to make a statement like that, especially when it's a matter of opinion. I prefer all of my meat very well done. To each his own, I guess.
Finally, I enjoyed the footage of the boys playing at the end. Thanks for another great watch, and I'll see you again next week. Take care and try to stay cool. I'm dreading a large snowfall starting tonight and all day tomorrow. I think I hate it as much as you hate the heat.💙✌️

For one melt, I'd like to see a pile of capacitors cracked open and the metals inside melted down. Once you crack open the outer shell (usually aluminum for heat sink) you'll find two sheets of conductive metal separated by a dielectric material, such as paper, glass, ceramic, or simply just air. The conductive metals can be a range of materials from platinum, silver, copper, and sometimes gold. Plating usually isn't done as electrolysis will usually strip it off and short the capacitor.

the ash and dirt in slag can make a good aggregate for concrete if you're ever thinking about replacing those bricks you knock your ingots onto. idk how well the slag from nonferrous metals will work but it'd be neat to see

I always want to start melting after watching these videos. Things I'll need first, though:
    -A house
    -All the equipment
    -A place to get scrap
Other than that, I'm ready to go!

Great job! You really are close to your goal. I found you back when you had about half as much as you do now. I have really enjoyed watching you grow the stack. You are one of my favorite UA-camrs. Thanks for all the enjoyable videos. I'm wondering what you plan on doing after you reach the goal. I hope you keep on doing something with the channel but I also would understand if you decided to do something different. Your videos bring a few minutes of peace into my life and I really enjoy that. Take care and keep up the good work my friend.

Man, I really feel for you in that heat. That is some serious temperatures.
My only complaint is that I don't have smell-taste-o-vision for those beautiful steaks! How dare me! 😀
I hope you and yours have a wonderful one! Thank you for another awesome video!

The Videography perfection is as interesting as the demolition, melting, pour and polishing! That carousel effect is very satisfying 😌.
No way these videos are "spur-of-the-moment ", off the cuff.
To you, Sir I have the greatest admiration! Do you script these? There has to be a lot of planning before and editing after.
Then there's the humor and personal expressions such that watching your videos is a beautiful masterclass 😍 👌

Cheers Matey , Editing is the longest part of this whole process and can sometimes take me 15-20 hours to do a 25 minute video. I don’t script it but when I’m filming the melts sometimes I’ll see an angle that I can get or just see an idea that might look good on film so I always take a lot of extra footage and that’s why it’s such a long process after filming as I might have three or four hours of footage I need to compress down to 20 minutes.
Before I start any melt I will play it out in my head what I’m gonna do how I’m gonna do it what I’m gonna use but I don’t actually write it all down it’s just anyway semi scripted in my head👍🏻

I think it would be cool as hell for you to do a treasure hunt involving clues embedded within your videos each week as a monthly thing. That would be great fun trying to find a copper skull buried somewhere. 👍 if you agree folks? Cheers Y’all.
