Skiing Mt Shasta - spring skiing ep6

Haven't posted one of these in awhile, editing is boring. This video was recorded on 5/16/24 and was a pretty uneventful Shasta summit. Weather was good and I had no issues other than the terrible snow at the top.

glad things softened up as you made it down! when do you think the best time of year to do Shasta would be?

You can ski Shasta for most of the summer, plus the best time to ski depends on the route. Avalanche gulch, the route I did, could be skied into July on most years. A good website for info on routes and when to go is www.skimountaineer.com/CascadeSki/CascadeSkiMonths
