John Lumgair is an animation director with over 15 years of experience at Quirky Motion studios. He discusses his latest project "Jazz Cow," an animated sitcom about a jazz-playing bovine leading a resistance against Big Tech. On Two Geeks Talking John Lumgair dives into the show's premise, which follows Jazz Cow and his misfit friends as they fight to preserve their artisanal community from the encroachment of algorithms and fake filters pushed by the antagonist, Dr Popp. We touch on what makes a great animated intro no matter if its western or eastern influenced. Easter eggs and Musical nods in the series and we talk about the team around Jazz Cow, including sitcom writer James Cary and character designer Selom Sunu and more.
