I'm pleased to say that putting Erquan strings on my cheap first erhu, it worked beautifully. I had noticed that I get a lower bass response in normal tuning and got the idea from this video to turn it into an Erquan erhu, and it worked. Sounds nice!

My erhu is light is it made of plastic or wood the snake skin is like almost disapere is it good? Eason music?

Hi! Light is not necessarily bad although denser and heavier wood is better. But if the snakeskin is thin and transparent that is not a good thing. Please send us some pictures so we can have a look at it. Thanks!
