- We did it! The first week was such a whirlwind of emotions! I am so excited for the rest of this year and to watch all of my kiddos grow!

My first week or two of my first year, I felt like I was losing my voice or getting sick because I had a sore throat everyday. I suggest drinking some tea :) it’s rough on your voice having to talk all day everyday if it’s not something you’ve done in the past!
Dakota & Abby that’s what’s happened to me I haven’t been around kids in so long that my voice is sore and ended up with a sore throat
As a student I like to watch these teacher vlogs to see more about what teachers do.
I'm in my 4th year of teaching and every year I have some kind of issue with dismissal. Don't sweat it girl! It happens to everyone ☺️

Glad you reinforced the fact it's a luxury and that expectations still need to be maintained. It's probably hard because they may not have had a lot of structure for months and so it'll take some getting used to!

Yes! I’m a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and we have clear masks (so much better than the cloth!) and believe me, when I wear makeup, it gets ALL over my mask 😤 so I mostly work bare faced haha

Yes they are! The white bins help so much! And if you are really worried about them tipping you could always zip tie them to the other bin!

It’s an attention grabber! Instead of having to yell like OKAY GUYS EYES ON ME or whatever they hear the bell and know that means to stop whatever they’re doing, hands flat on the desk, and eyes on me. It’s super helpful since my voice isn’t super loud anyways haha
