In 2019 I spent a week in Rome solo. I had the BEST time, and watching this makes me wish I ventured out more than I did. I’m definitely going back now that the world is slowly opening up. This was beautiful to watch.

Kylie, just came back from a summer of dreams in the Amalfi coast! I could have used your advice about the Italian men with ' la straniera' while I was there!! But I had a fabulous time and learned so much. This video was such a beautiful reminder of the place I just left and I loved recognising all the twists and turns of the road and I even saw my apartment in Atrani in the video! As I was walking to Fornillo beach, I remember thinking ' Kylie walked this track to the beach when she was here!' and being so excited that the dream your Dolce Vita Diaries gave me finally came true! Thank you for the beauty, I absolutely ADORE this series and hope there is more to come!
No matter where you went or go in life...You are always a breath of fresh air Kylie!! Our beautiful South Louisiana Coast on August 29th got hit by a Category 4 (pending may reclassify as a Category 5) Hurricane called IDA!! My sweet home town is demolished once again!! So much devastation you would be shocked to see it now!! I came on here to try and find some kind of serenity and feel good moment after so much heartache..we are still without electricity going on day 14 ... turned back on city water 2 days ago... homes are run on generators at this moment! Thank you for this video... it is so refreshing to have a little down time after long hard days!! I absolutely love ALL your videos!! :-)
I appreciate ALL of your videos, but the Dolce Vita Diaries are my favorite 🥰 I have yet to visit the Amalfi coast but I have had the pleasure of visiting 3/5 villaged of Cinque Terre, and this video brings me back ❤
Life is like that for him because he probably comes from a well to do family. Most people struggle both in litaly as well as in Santa Barbara, (provided you can get the money to travel there).
Kyle you remind me so much of myself. I'm Australian born but have Italian roots. I moved to Sorrento Italy when I was 28 years old and had very similar experiences and days spent just like your videos show - especially this one. They were great memories but I must say Australia is my home and always will be even though Italy will remain in my heart forever.
The Amalfi coast is so beautiful. It's such a vibrant place. It is so easy to fall in love with Italy, the Italian culture is wonderful. Thank you for taking us back to this adventure

The boys were relentless in flirting. I met an American boy there who stole my heart though. A sweet wholesome Ohio boy who treated me like a queen and spoke fluent Italian which came in handy when we traveled together:)

Just a heads up for any tourists visiting Amalfi- don’t pay at a restaurant without the bill (il conto in Italian). I speak Italian at a C1 level and still had waitresses at 3 restaurants try to charge me triple my bill and refusing to bring it to me because I was a tourist. The Italians next to me got their bills no problem . Put your foot down and ask for the bill or say you won’t pay.

I would have been one of the Foreign girls Who would’ve been there alone. Who would’ve had one of the Italian men sweep in and romance me… essentially lie to me… and I would’ve been the one who would’ve fallen in love… and then would have been crushed. Absolutely heartbroken. I don’t like these sort of men… not every woman is secure. The people who get hurt by these men are the women who didn’t have the security, the knowledge or the example set to them that they are powerful, desirable or have choice. I am so blessed to have met my Italian husband who is genuine, kind and has taught me these things. We have a son… and I keep a list of lessons and rules I want him to live by… and the first one on the list is “don’t take advantage of vulnerable women” and secondly “be genuine and clear with your intentions” … no bravado, no lies, no deception for gain of your ego or between your legs. I am half Greek too and my opinion Greece and Italy are the best part of the world.Iam trying to learn Italian as well.

Can you tell us what restaurants these were? They are pathetic. I had something similar happen to me in a random restaurant in Milan.
