Why can't i see when you buy? Is that just a spectator thing? I know you listed it in the beginning but never realized that.

I would strongly disagree with your opinion on the fed must be pushing objectives.
It would still heavily depend on what's going on in the map. If your whole team is farming camps and you push alone, that's just a deathwish. You know you can take 1v1s, but you have no idea if their team is ready to help out that caught opponent or not. But in your example, you have info on the dead infernus, 2 peeps pushing sidelane, there's no CC heavy like bebop or mole on their team and you have your ult to force 1v1s, , THAT is a good decision to take objectives.
In the end map info is crucial to take everything effectively.

the most farmed players SHOULD have the most kill/teamfight involvement, but that often isn't the case since we're in a movespeed and heavy rotation meta; the most fed players in games are typically builds designed specifically to farm neutral, boxes & urns and span the entire map as quickly as possible. sometimes their team will refuse to bully lanes properly (as the map is designed for), so they resolve to solo speed farm as it earns them more souls per minute than feeding and pushing lane into a different 4+ man ambush every 3-4 minutes.
the last 20 games i've played had the top farmers rolling with a 10-20k soul lead by 25:00 - very few of them were actually ever present for crucial teamfights, only showing up to play in the last ten minutes once they've finally come "online".
this behavior is just accessible counterplay to the common result of an opposing team losing 2 or more lanes (generally mid) - they simply form into a roaming 4-6 man deathball and try to powerfarm the first flex slot until game over, or the other team manages to successfully defend.
at this point it largely becomes a question of whether or not any players in the deathball get caught out of position or focused down without trading.
in symmetric teamfights, it's ultimately down to which team can afford to pile on more uno reverse cards.
even the most oppressive team comp can be almost fully negated by 6-8k souls in active items - so people just leave and go farm for 80% of the match duration in an attempt to accomplish that and become relevant late game.
i think STAR nailed his description of Deadlock gameplay at higher skill levels - it starts to feel more gimmicky the more you learn the game, implement tech, and learn counterplay.
so far, the movement and melee tech, build variety, and aim duels early lane are the only things really keeping me playing.
maybe this is a sign that the game isn't for me, but sorry - i just want to fight people, and build my character up by fighting and winning against them.
i don't want to memorize routes to shoot & spam abilities at static AI, punch crates, and ride ziplines across the map chasing the biggest enemy farmers down for 25-30 minutes each match - only for it to devolve into chaotic and insufferable macro plays where the team that farmed enough to be able to slap more uno reverse cards on the table wins.
it's a pretty boring, gimmicky, unceremonious, and jarring endgame tacked onto an otherwise fairly interesting and well-executed concept.
also would help if server and client performance didn't tank so badly in stronghold teamfights especially
