Looks good, not sure how they made so few of these. They could have sold 10x that many easy.

Interest in Force Lab has increased since they released this, this was available for months on there website. Now the new preorder of the Snow Speeder sold out in hours.

I’m on the hunt for a tie fighter, missed out on the set but got an Xwing, so I just need the Tie

I think the Xwing looks great on its own, but I’m sure you’ll pick up a tie fighter at some point. Good luck.

Hey mate would you have the dimensions of the boxes for xwing and tie fighter respectively?

    Hi mate,
I just came across your channel and absolutely loved your energy and enthusiasm for your collectibles. Subscribed!
Oh, while I remember. How does it compare to the efx Studio Scale Tie Fighter and X-Wing?
    All the best mate 👍

Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it. I don’t own any other Star Wars ships at the moment, but hope to get more in the future.

On that print, the Tie-Fighter is WAY TOO CLOSE to the X-Wing. It looks like a corn and cheese casserole. I'd definitely rather have separate prints of both ships instead of a single print of a Tie-Fighter getting crammed right up the asshole of an X-Wing.

I don't know who is making these but the paint is horribly wrong. It's missing so many laser blasts and weathering as well as a lot of paint panels. The colour on the engines is wrong and the paint panels are the wrong colour. They would do better to make these from either 3-D printed PLA plastic or from resin rather than polystone. The hyperdrive behind R2 is way too dark and a solid gray. The back of the fuselage vault is too dark as well. Apparently they don't have any real paint references as all of these that I've seen so far have the wrong colour panels on the engines and the port side of the fuselage under the cockpit and the underside of the right wing. There are no stripes on any of these wings inside. The scorch marks inside the wings and on the left wing on the top are missing. These are too clean! My guess is that they're cranking these things out like cookie cutters? The basic shape is correct but the paint including the laser canon barrels is wrong.

I couldn’t say how accurate these are, I’m still impressed with the concept and overall display of these. Which company would you recommend.

@@bigmocollectibles1995 I'd go for the one that is most accurate. I found out last night that the "Force Laboratories" is just a fan name and not an official company or a licensed product. I could do a better job making these in my shop. I have access to all the same resin and rubber that the guys from ILM had back in the day. They used foam but only because it would be easy to break apart for pyrotechnic shots. The resin I use is actual polyurethane which is a little bit brittle but a lot more durable. I can paint. Trust me - I can paint! It would be easy enough for me to get a recast of the actual X-Wing fighters but I'd have to make my own wings. I know one of the former ILM guys from back in the day. Maybe I'll go ahead with my plans to release an official model - pre-painted with working lights?

There is nothing wrong with the paint app accuracy for this red five, the model is based off an old ilm scan, they just painted it as an idealized clean version so the color is more pronounced vs the heavily weathered ones. I have it next to the efx one and a custom by mike salzo, both are weathered, I like the force laboratory version more as it pops better, the colors are all correct. The only thing it doesnt have is light up.
Also why do you talk about stuff you have no clue about, if you ever actually collected any star wars vehicles you know all the best ones are unlicensed, or do you think the licensed hasbro / sideshow crap are better? They made 150 of this, each numbered, and it's been sold out long time ago, just fyi.
This is why sometime i really hate the star war collectors community, you have toxic armchair nerds like this guy with a superiority complex who thinks they are the god of accuracy, and shts on any small companies trying to make something great. I have been collecting star wars vehicles for 2 decades, this x-wing / tie fighter are amazing, their AT-ST is also the best on the market (except a few one off custom pieces) and one of my new favorite. I cant wait for their AT-AT and compare it to the MR version. After mr/efx imploded, there is a huge vacuum of high end studio scale models, now finally we have a couple small companies trying again. If you think so highly of yourself, then go ahead make your own models, i bet you cant make a bandai plastic model if your life depends on it. And whining over pointless stuff like their use of polystone (which is industry standard) over foam etc..is just icing on the cake (wtf uses foam other than on the actual set or as a throwaway..)

@@onlythebest3311 First of all you can keep your hateful comments to yourself! You don't need to be shitty to me simply because you disagree. I personally know people behind the scenes that made these models and those that are still in the industry. I'm not "making up shit" that I don't know anything about! I have actual photos from 1976 in the ILM studios of these models - not an idealized version of them as you see in this video. Those ForceFX models aren't accurate and neither are the EFX models as those look like toys. I don't collect toys! Those aren't any better. If you actually took the time to do some research instead of coming in here and pissing down my leg and telling me that it's raining you'd know that I DO know my stuff as you even admitted that these models that you're praising are ILLEGAL COPIES and aren't accurate as they are IDEALIZED VERSIONS. So I don't know why you had to get your panties in a bunch and voice your ignorant opinion just because you don't like what I said. Do you say these kinds of things to everyone that you don't agree with? Go back to The RPF (The Real Pricks Forum) and piss down someone else's leg!

@@solarismoon3046 I'd probably be interested if you do. I've been trying to 3D print an accurate X-Wing for a while now. I'm earning my stripes in airbrushing, so maybe I'll have something somewhat accurate by the summertime. Your connections to the original got me curious...
