In reality most people who don't practice with all fingers wont be able to type with their ring finger and pinky apart from the special occasions, like when pressing enter, ', shift, ,. etc. Mainly because those fingers arent used for precision purposes, they're mainly used for gripping stuff. You just gotta practice slowly every word you're slow at, and re-learn your patterns. You can actually re-learn it quite fast if you practice often.
