GTA 4 when released had a glitch that it doesn't detect Nvidia graphics card that's why it doesn't supported 1080p my PC had at that time 6GB ram and 2gb graphics card along with i5 processor still it doesn't even give 20FPS

But Gta 4 was not popular in india because of it's high system requirements at that time and jab sabke paas acha pc aane laga to gta 5 aa gaya aur gta 5 ke aage kon teekega bhala. Yeah but it was just the case in India because indians loves colourful games i remember the time when i was young and visited internet cafe there was sa and vc installed in those PCs and most people played vc and when asked the people why they play vc instead of sa and they sayed that vc was HD HD! It’s just when it was launched, because of low end pcs and lack of gaming consoles, it didn’t became famous as other gta games in India.
And in India majority of gaming audience are kids who were directly introduced to GTA 5 which was way ahead of GTA 4 in some aspects.

The reason everyone thinks its a failure is that it is sandwiched between the success of gta sa and gta 5. Gta 5 became more famous bcoz it was free once on epic. Gta vc is most of the Indian's first game, and gta sa multiplied the gameplay elements. That's why maybe gta 4 was unheard among Indian fans. But in foreign countries gta 4 is considered as the best in the series.

That's not true. Ye dil ko dilasa dene ke liye sahi hai. Gta 4 ki gameplay one of the weakest hai, no good driving mechanics, map is boring, colours are boring, no interesting places to visit. It's just overrated because of a mature story. Story is important but gameplay is more important.

I formally protest this topic. It is only in India that Gta 4 is not famous. In other countries, it is one of the most beloved game.
On the matter of features like Gta SA and Gta V, I accept that they are not present in Gta 4 but I guess Rockstar must had thought that those features won't match the storyline. Unlike any other Gta game, they completely focused on storyline. This uniqueness of Gta 4 is appreciable.
We have read alot about it from the western audience. They have always said that GTA 4 is a good game, but in comparison to other GTAs, they always hoped for more from it.
GTA 4 is not popular outside India too, it is far less popular than 3D era gtas and GTA 5, for years people hated against GTA 4 for lack of features that were there in classic GTAs like driving tanks, gang wars, buying houses.
All GTAs have great stories, the story of GTA VCS the alit 3D GTA is way better where Vic is dragged to crime by his corrupt army boss, and then builds his business empire and his relation with Louis is far more emotional than Kate and Niko's
But yeah Indians didnt own PSP so they know nothing about GTA VCS. It had way more features and far better story than GTA 4's, also GTA 4 mission structure is lame, just chase and kill someone, 3D GTAs and GTA 5 have more diverse missions.
And lastly games are for features, GTA 4's story is a D grade crime movie theme, those who watched classic crime movies like Godfather and Scarface sees GTA 4's story as a joke!
1:30 sole reason to provide dull colors was that developers wanted to show how dark theme of the game was by which they used colors as a primary objective to make the game look dark

To be fair Nick Bellic was a war veteran meaning he liked standard army cut, had ideal physique so didn't need gym. GTA 4 is has a dark plot and those features won't fit with the story. San andreas was all about chilling with homies.

my gta 4 map is not showing any mission after game 55% completed :(
For me the biggest issue is poor Optimization of GTA 4 on pc. For a context my Pc can play GTA 5 with intel hd graphics 520 with low and medium setting mix but struggle to play GTA 4 with similar settings. Rockstar did not even bother to fix the issue. Yes you can use vulkan backend to fix the framerate issue of GTA 4 but this fix is more favourable toward high end pc.

Mast physics, mast gameplay, mast charecter development aur zabardast storyline but Is game me GTA wala essence missing tha.. GTA franchise is supposed to be a parody of crime life jo bhale hi violent aur intense ho but bahut zyada dark naa ho.. Jaise GTA San Andreas ko dekha jaye to story bahut hi dark thi but uska treatment nahi.. usme fun element tha aur larger than life epicness, bhi.. freefall aur stowaway jaise high octane Action missions the aur climax lag bhi climax ki tarah tha.. aggar GTA IV ko GTA naam se sell nahi karte to mere khayal se zyada sahi rehta.. Same with TLAD.. to aggar sahi Mayne me dekha jaye to Aggar GTA San Andreas ka remaster modern gameplay ke hisab se hota to woh best GTA game hota..
Just imagine - Manhunt jaise GTA 3DU ke universe me tha.. waise hi aggar GTA 4 ko release karte with a different title. (In my mind their are 2 titles : The Revenger and soviet connection) aur GTA tlad as TLAD (Just TLAD) release hota aur Tbogt, GTA 4 ke naam pe release hota to zyada better hota

GTA 4 sucks you cant drive tanks, buy houses, do gang wars and take over gang territories building empires, swim under water, and many things you could do in previous GTAs. It only had good graphics thats it, GTA 5 brought back a lot of cool features. Check out GTA Vice city Stories, it was the last 3D GTAA and had more features than GTA 4 and Vic is a cooler character than overrated Niko! At least TBOGT brought back driving tanks.
@@JohnJohn-uh3vl Bro GTA 4 is meant to be made with a dark cinematic storyline which will affect the whole GTA series in terms of best storyline. So they didn't bother provide all the other stuffs. And every GTA game has pros and cons. That's why we switch between GTA games to play. Or else we would have been stuck in one GTA game in our whole life.

@@dhruvhooda9032 Yeah TBOGT brings back tanks and parachuting but GTA 4 started the crappy dlc era, and days of all in one game were gone. Anyway I agree TBOGT better than main GTA 4.
