Great idea Man ! I'll be honest I suffer from some depression due to a recent loss in my family.Your content inspires me to go outside and enjoy what I love .. DIY , fishing and being outdoors in general . I can't tell you how my life has changed and brings me peace getting back out there .I was born in 83 , therefore the throwback stuff was great ! Best wishes for you and your family in 2025. Looking forward to more videos, inspiring me to jump into my own projects
My basement garage stays 70 in heat of summer 65 winter. You will love it. You will chase tools up/down no matter how many you have 🤓. I watch your channel on my phone or sometimes on I-pad. Your basement B/W flooring was really distracting to me, to much of it. I really like how you describe your projects. Thanks
T.J. thank you for all the videos since I've followed your channel. I love my yak, my motors, fin drive, and other accessories. Thus winter I'm redoing my bow mount. I also love my 22' Nissan PRO-4X. You're very gifted with all your kayak, truck, camping, and new installs, DIY projects. It's just very appreciated. Happy New Year, my friend 2025' 🥳 😎 🎣
I love the new shop idea. And the man cave being there is just a bonus. Can't wait to see how you finish it out. If you ever decided to do podcasts, that will make an awesome studio for everything. Sounds like you need a tool sponsorship to deck it out.
Great plan. Look like you can concentrate on the project and leave if needed for later. And have couple projects going without getting in way of home life.
You know that opens up the option for another "series" . Start having guest (i.e. pro fisherman, outdoorsman) over for like a game of pool and story swapping.
I think you made a really good decision on the use of this space. The only drawbacks I can see is you'll need a tool from the garage when your in the basement or vice versa when in the garage and the occasional gripe from the better half about the noise from working down there although that should be minimal on Kayak work. Building a new shop/building would have several drawbacks in itself not to mention the dollars spent. Keep up the good work.
Dude, that's an awesome idea. Love your man cave. The Pool table story sounds like something I would do 😂. Thanks for the content, and 🎉Happy New Year.
Omg I can’t believe you have those old Powell decks! Was that Rodney mullens? Gleaming the cube was one of my all time favorite.. still skate with my son every chance I get. Can’t wait to see what you’re bringing in 2025!
Beyond awesome man ..every mans dream..gamer man cave from the 80s and 90s and fishing boat beside ya lol.. freaking awsome lol 80s baby 90s raised me team
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year T.J.! From your ol buddy Dustin. So happy that your channel has had so much success! Very cool! I was wondering if y'all still have that huge picnic table you got from my house? Haha
Hey Bud!! I appreciate than man. We definitely still have that picnic table and it still has yours and Brooks initials scribed on it.. It’s good to hear from you man! Come see me next time you back in Bama! 👊🏼
Instead of a roll up door, put in two hinged doors out of that fake brick. Much cheaper, better looking, and better for sound (metal doors echo). Just my two cents.

😂 Thanks man!
I love it brother!! Great Idea 💡I was born in 1974 so I can relate to the vintage stuff. Looks fantastic.

Thanks man! I’m definitely gonna need more tools..! 😂
Go with a mini split. They work great for heat and air and are inexpensive.
Great plan. Look like you can concentrate on the project and leave if needed for later. And have couple projects going without getting in way of home life.

I like that idea, I'll have to see if I can make it work!
Nope, stop lyin! You don't get to gloss over that, you and the boys are definitely doing karate in the basement!

Wow, you have a super cool house with the basement garage access! Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out
Thanks man! I’m pretty excited about it too!
Great idea and use of available space. New construction would be fun but too expensive currently.
Very true!
Awesome setup! Looks great. That's a dream man cave/shop!
Great setup.

Thanks! Yeah, I’m definitely gonna need to get separate tools now lol, but that’s still cheaper than a new building 🤙🏼
Makes sense to me. Wish I had that much space. Best of luck.
Thats awesome!! Props for having Golden Eye in the N64 lol
Dude, that's an awesome idea. Love your man cave. The Pool table story sounds like something I would do 😂. Thanks for the content, and 🎉Happy New Year.

I think so too! It’s been kicking my butt this week though 😂
