@@andrewmueller9986not much more we can do as fans other than support the players now & yeah it sucks but Day isn't getting fired anytime soon. Unfortunately
@@Choclate_Chip_Hoochie I mean Im not cheering for them to lose, but how exactly do we "support the players?" If by wanting them to win, sure, but that does not mean we should stop talking about things that need talked about.
Maybe Day will have his team ready to go on a deep run, until the Natty Game, when he doesn't rotate his defenders at all and loses a close game against Boise. He will claim they had the best defense going into the game and thought his starters were tough enough to stop their running game.
Done with delusional Day. 4 in a row is only a little bit compared to 1) Michigan was 6and5 2) Michigan hadn't won a road game 3) Michigan had 2 great players out of the game 4) Michigan had a crappy QB 5) This was a Buckeye HOME GAME 6) Day ran up the middle multiple times against TWO MONSTER TACKLES 7) No JJ Smith targets in 2nd half 8) Hurry up offense scores at the end of 1st half then DISAPPEARS 9) Day has NO PLAY CLOCK COMPETENCE Right now I'm running out of patience to write more
Why does he always fall short? He lost to UGA, costing OSU a Natty because he didn't have a reliable Kicker. So why does he still not have one? Because he was fine settling for mediocrity, that's why. He could have upgraded at the position but he was fine with Fielding, a mediocre Kicker who struggles kicking 30 yarders.
I have been a Ryan Day defender to a t but not any more.. I defend the players at this point, Day has to prove otherwise.. I thought the press conference the other day wasn't bad & had me feel a little better, just a little. Its hard to feel bad for him when he's always shooting himself in the foot
I'm sorry, I am out on him... He can go... Even if they went nuts and went on a run... Ryan "Jekyll and Hyde" Day needs to go, even if it risks losing a ton of guys... If the Administration throws all their support aka Dollars behind the successor they will be fine. The bottom line is this is OSU with deep pockets and a huge fanbase!
Unless Chip and Ryan drastically change the play calling, we're doomed. If we change the O-line up, they're the same old, inept linemen just reshuffled. If Day can get by Tennessee, Oregon, and Penn St we deserves praise.
Once the offensive line started to crumble that shook a lot of people's confidence in their team because of Ryan Day.. if he would have been able to keep his coaching staff together when he first got the job he would have no problems because that staff covered up a lot of his mistakes.. some of them left for head coaching jobs that gave Ryan Day the opportunity to restructure his staff and he brought his friends in and that's where the problem started
The attitude gets me, "Yeah, we lost 4 years in a row, but we won a lot of games." WHO CARES!!!!!!!!! BEAT That TTUN! Ryan Day obviously doesn't get it! ☠️
Go Bucks , but we are not winning the Natty this year. Our O line is depleted. Our QB makes horrible turnovers. Our kicker can't kick a field goal. Under 40 yards. .... this is a bad recipe. It's not one bad game. They had 2 good ones. I hate to say these things, will always root for OSU😊
Anything can happen- do I think the bucks will win four in a row at this point? I think they will struggle to win one. In some ways it might bring changes that should be made sooner than later. Juck rules!
He said he never expected to lose this game, after losing the last 3 years he still is taking this game granted. It's pretty obvious he believed the narrative that most fans believed that sign stealing was the reason for the last few games. He still doesn't get it.
"I was in shock after the game." I appreciate the candor but that is a damning statement from a head coach and explains his gameplan, in-game decision making, and postgame inaction.
He still hasn't proven anything. If he goes on a run and then loses in the Natty by the SAME fashion by not rotating his defenders, not having a reliable Kicker, not having his backup QBs ready to take over, or calling a conservative offensive gameplan, then he still deserves to be fired.
I don't feel sorry for the $10M man, I feel bad for the players and Buckeye nation. Ryan "I wasn't born on third base! My team is tough" Dazed appears to have a Napolean complex and annually makes The Game his Waterloo. This video needed to be made, glad you decided to do it.
I can't see Oregon winning by less than 2, maybe 3 TDs honestly. I'll be shocked if psu can even make it a game. Oregon gets out front in qtr 1 and never looks back.
I'm like you Juck I am trying to be positive but I keep ping ponging back to the negative. But, here's something interesting regarding the playoff. Remember that narrative that Penn State might benefit the most from an extended playoff, they have a chance to be the #1 seed. Wild times
I wonder what the plan is if Ryan has lost the team and plays poorly in the playoffs and Ryan goes to the NFL. Would Urban cover for a year or two so they can hire the right coach for the future. It would let Urban end his career on a positive, keep the player's from mass Exodus to the portal.
How can this OL (?) '''all of a sudden''' - block for these RB's (?) -- AND -- protect Howard to throw the ball (?) -- when they couldn't against TTUN (?) -- who is not as good as any of the 12 teams in the CFP ??? > TELL ME - HOW ? = Their OL - has been DECIMATED !!!!! (( ? ))
Maybe Ryan Day should go down to the peewee college football level to learn from the ground up, because he doesn't have what it takes to get over the top, at the highest level, due to never learning how to deal with simple issues learned on that path to promotion.
For me the clues of what this team was came up during Oregon where i felt Oregon played harder and faster, they easily could have lost by 2+ scores and were reinforced by Nebraska and Penn State. It was easy to dismiss Penn State as a road game but Ohio State was clearly the better team and still failed to put them away. Indiana was a nice surprise but when Michigan came up i knew their defense could stall this offense. The playcalling didnt help, but O line and mediocre QB play were yet again exposed. It will be exposed again in the playoffs. Truly there are only mid level creampuffs outside of 2 and MAYBE 3 a year in the B1G, they failed 2/3 outright and in my mind, could argue 3/3 with the poor play vs. Penn State. Defense looks good, offense is not even close to what we thought it could be. I asked the day before the Oregon game if i was looking at this team with a more critical eye than other top teams as for the reason i didnt feel great about it and you said i probably was, but i dont think so anymore. I enjoy my Buckeyes, but they are way overhyped.
@@YohanathanD this is pretty spot on. And as for the Indiana game I argued with people who said it hinged on the 2 special teams plays. Outside of those it was very close. I said the Buckeyes would have scored both of those possessions anyway. I’m inclined to believe a bit more that they were right.
This whole Ryan day thing has entered the pity territory. I feel bad for the guy and everyone’s different but no amount of money makes this fun for anyone. Does he seem stubborn and reactionary? Yeah. But it’s still a dude underperforming at his publicly scrutinized job and for all intents and purposes he seems like a good dude.
Glad we got rid of the sell-outs and distractions. I like our locker and the attitude these young men have. Oregon's getting in over their heads and definitely in uncharted territory. They'd better never lose or they're going to find out real quick what loyalty and what being established means the hard way. And yes, this is now "Natty or Bust", like the coaches and team have said all year long. I'm not on the fire Ryan Day crowd and never have been. We still had and still have another great team and most will go to the NFL (half the goal). He has one more year to get it right and we all know it, including him. It's about results and the results aren't there. If he wins the Natty then forget it, he'll get an extension.
He refuses to learn from his mistakes he stays with a million excuses man it's f****** absolutely insane. We didn't win that one but we wouldn't want a games get out of here dude.
