Saw them live on this tour and they opened the show with this, pitch black with just the sounds through the p.a. And then when the drums come in the whole place erupted ,probably the best energy of any show I’ve seen, would love to go back in time and see it again
Nathan Montague easily they could have released this album this year and it would walk away with every metal award and it would not be close... kind of makes you realise how much better music was then compared to now
I don't know, there was already a lot of awesome industrial metal around before this came out - Ministry and KMFDM were more revolutionary than this. But this is an excellent album
@@AK-74K but this wasnt labeled as or wanted to be known as "industrial metal". It was just....something else that could stand alone. And as a fan of both, Ministry(early) easily beats the wonderfulness that is (any)KMFDM
@@devilshoez1098 My favourite Ministry album is Psalm 69, as it's the first Ministry album I heard - just got old enough to listen to metal when it came out. Still love it - so heavy! Electric Head is also v cool, but in a different way, very catchy, infectious metal tunes
I've outrun the highway boys a few times with this album in the CD slot in my old Buick LeSabre, They never seen a 3.8 powered shitbox blast past them,
My favorite band! These guys killed it til they broke up! They were way better than rob zombies solo act! Hes no where near as heavy anymore! This was his prime if you ask me!
I remember when my dad found out I was getting into metal and he had this album. My dad had a very vast collection of music. He gave me Astrocreep 2000 still in the wrapper, mind you he bought it when it first came out. He bought two and gave me the wrapped up case in 2007. I listened and loved every single song on this album. I have been in love ever since.
I picked up this cd back in the day by reading about it in Metal Edge magazine, I was a big Manson kid back then and hadn’t heard of White Zombie (don’t know how). This blew me away. Fell in love with it. Hits you like a fire cracker and doesn’t stop. Being a teenaged dude listening to this was awesome
Yes, it really is a damn shame, seems as though we're running outta musical genius at an alarming pace...this music is mind blowing and explosive. I FEEL the shit as much as hear it
producers and record companies want more visual entertainment by exploiting young females for sex appeal. it's a shame, cause this shit is straight sexy :p AND the music is real music.
Jennifer Healy because this kind of industrial metal - at least this type of awesome shit - is just not being made anymore, not close to enough. There are a few bands lucky enough to still be around like kmfdm. But even that is a different "type" of industrial metal.
My brother and I were 4 and 6 when this album came out and we were absolutely enthralled with it when our dad brought it home. I still have the CD and this song skips constantly because we used to play it on repeat for hours on end.
I was 14 when this album came out. I used to blast this entire album for years. I haven't heard it on forever. The album spontaneously popped into my head so I came to UA-cam to listen. Holy shit! Electric Head Pt1 still gets me pumped. So many memories brought back. I loved this album.
i remember in 6th-8th grade i always had my ipod with me and when we'd go out to lunch, or leave the class in general i'd always listen to white zombie and rob zombie. i'm a sophomore in high school now. needless to say, i still love rob's music. my dad raised me on the goodies. glad to have rock in my life 100%.
+Jesse G i don't understand this. what about scorpion sleeps, spookshow baby, feel so numb, dracula, educated horses, (brick house), house of 1000 corpses.Rob is the brand
I remember walking to the mall and buying this when it came out, and seeing them on tour with The Ramones. They put on quite the show, lots of on stage antics/props.
In 5th Grade...this completely changed my journey in Metal music. It was harder than the nu-metal I was listening too. Yet older by 3-5 years or so. What an album!
Song still goes hard. It remains my fav from this album. The Pantera/White Zombie concerts I attended back in the day are still the best shows I’ve been to.
Every time I hear this, I imagine this great Starship of War slowly flying through space, bits of debris flying around it. As it passes by the camera and the music kicks up, we see a massive space battle taking place.
God I remember when I first heard this album! My parents were heavy into church and didn't listen to anything but oldies! My neighbor had this tape and he let me borrow it and I kid you not the first time I heard this song and Super Charger Heaven it was like I was born again! This group is the reason I started to turn into bands like Tool, Clutch, Ministry the list goes on! Love it!
I like to pull up Blairing this song when I'm driving by the retirement home , the ones that are able hurry and go inside the ones not unfortunately have to sit their with a look of horror and confusion on thier faces ...thank you rob for scaring old people
Ray Hopkins I would have to say... this is my favorite because this was the first song of theirs I heard. My mom had the album and toddler me was head banging and jamming to this.
I grew up with White Zombie. I still love the music. I always will. But all of you talking about "kings of metal", "last stand against the death of metal" do not know metal. It's still out there and better than ever. You just have to look for it. Don't expect it to be advertised or thrown at you.
It's always nice to read comments on UA-cam that resonate with you... without all the bs. I probably bought this album when I was about fourteen or fifteen, many years ago. Needless to say, it changed the landscape of what I would listen to in the future (metal, speed metal, black, etc.) Happy listening, my friends. P.S. I can't wait for "3 from Hell". Should be a classic.
I remember my mom had to buy this album for me in middle school. Good thing I had cool parents! Although I'm sure they didn't look at the liner notes lol.
Listened to this album as a kid in my dads car, driving around with the volume up in the dark, I used to feel scared and excited at the same time when this song came on
I saw them at great woods in Massachusetts when I was in high school. astro creep 2000 tour. what a great show they put on. we smoked an oz of weed through the whole concert...
I saw The Exorcist in 93 when I was ten and that movie made me believe demons were real. For 2 more years I was terrified I would get possessed at some point and I never left any windows opened because of that movie. Then in 95 I got this album and was afraid to play it because this song always made me feel like it was summoning demons.
This song has always been my favorite off this album. Who's still jamming in 2022?
Hey, i'm from 2022 year
Dont care how old this is ill always jam it reminds me of better times
Saw them live on this tour and they opened the show with this, pitch black with just the sounds through the p.a. And then when the drums come in the whole place erupted ,probably the best energy of any show I’ve seen, would love to go back in time and see it again
Still jamming with ya! Just can't get with the music these days.
dec 9th rockin to work🤟
In my opinion, this is one of the most underrated metal songs
absolutely true my friend!
One of the greatest opening tracks in history.
Sam Rader oh yeah
Sam Rader I almost blew my speakers out at home the first time i listened to this song. It hits like a hammer
word
This is definitely a great tune my favs blur the Technicolor! The whole album was nasty!
Indeed Betty, indeed.
"Show them why they call you Two-Hands..."
my nigga
bro that series brought me to this band.
bamBAM
RKshamrock fuck yea 👍👏
I'm reading book 1 right now, I had to listen to what revy was saying bodies to
Whoever handled all the samples & keyboards & effects on this album is fucking awesome and deserves some recognition.
Hands down the loudest concert I've ever been to.
Rex H Dude, the titties were floppin in the breeze
You know it man, best concert ever been to
Saw WZ with The Ramones in '95, one of my best concerts!
Yeah no doubt. I still feel it in my chest.
One of the great metal albums of all time. Way ahead of its time.

Great album to drive to! Just speeding tickets need to be cheaper!
HEADBANGER The mosh pit fucking one of the the best head bang metal energy was best I've been honored to get in and mosh.
Yeah... ;) \,,/
Doesnt it.... its absolutely glorious
I could legit get a speeding ticket just by listening to this while driving.
I've outrun the highway boys a few times with this album in the CD slot in my old Buick LeSabre,
They never seen a 3.8 powered shitbox blast past them,
I used to listen to black sunshine in my Mustang driving down the highway
Felt that lmao
Hell, I got a speeding ticket listening to this at home.
I have haha. True story.
This was my wake up tune to get to school when I was 16, I'm 42 now.... great times!!!
I'm with ya bro...
Same for me when I was 16/17, I’m 44 now!!
Zombie helped corrupt my impressionable teenage mind in the 90s. I love them for that 💯💊⚔️🔥
no he didnt thats just your excuse for your already probably fucked up mind.
same here! first band i was exposed to and is the foundation for how my creativity was influenced
hehe mee too
Rob Zombie definitely corrupted my impressionable mind as a teenager in the 90’s as well! Astro Creep remains one of the best 90’s Metal Records!
Me too brother me too!
2019 and still one of the best metal albums of all time. Such a shame they didn't get along and broke up after making this masterpiece
pro tip....don't fuck your bass player....
It became all about “rob”
This whole album doesn’t have one bad song it’s a masterpiece
Gbn
The best album of this era. Period.
My favorite band! These guys killed it til they broke up! They were way better than rob zombies solo act! Hes no where near as heavy anymore! This was his prime if you ask me!
Indeed! I think so too man.
Agreed. His solo stuff was never on the same level as White Zombie.
Correct.
Agree.
Capt. Spaulding, is that you?
White Zombie > Rob Zombie
×1000
I agree. However, if rob's other albums were all as good as hellbilly deluxe then i would have to reconsider.
Truth
bmjv77 by a super long shot
Um, they’re the same dude.
One of the best metal albums out there. Pure adrenaline.
Megadeth got me into metal, this song had me hooked for good. Even after all this time, that intro is still haunting.
I remember discovering this while reading a Black Lagoon manga
me right now
Literally experiencing this at this exact moment
Same
Revy has impeccable taste.
Literally, that's how I got here. I was reading the black lagoon manga, and it had this song.

Lies.
I saw WZ in '93 in Atlanta.... Loved it. Great show. If Rob Zombie wants to make some money, a White Zombie reunion is where it is...
Agreed. I would prefer he get back to this stuff instead of making movies.
Millions on millions...and my money on at least a ticket or 2
i love this always have and always will
Me too
60 and i love this shit.
20 plus years later and I still super enjoy listening to this album
thumbs up for a white zombie reunion tour!
...Ten years later... :(
It'll never happen I guarantee it, Rob doesn't wanna be involved with Sean Yselut or J and that kinda irks me
@@yalantyr25 yeah as much as I just love white zombie so much more, the break up and implications are downright venomous
Given the circumstances, I highly doubt it will happen.

I blast this on repeat every Halloween.
Also try the Rob Zombie song "Halloween (She Get So Mean)" to add to the festivities.
ABSOLUTELY ALL OVER TOWN IN MY VEHICLE!!!
This is the most fun White Zombie song ever. No question.
No one is even brave enough to try something as ambitious as this today... that intro alone is bananas
Yes, it really is a damn shame, seems as though we're running outta musical genius at an alarming pace...this music is mind blowing and explosive. I FEEL the shit as much as hear it
Damn skippy!

They would be like call my mum..
But we raised those kids, thats the sad part
Vae Victis sad but true . But not mine , they are animals!

Amazing saw them at the Wolverhampton Civil in the 90s......brilliant!
Been with me since the dawn of time thumbs up listen because it's real
THAT’S ALMOST THE WALL’S THEME, BROTHER!!!
This is a badass album. I like it better than the techno-shit Zombie has been trying to produce since then. But maybe his real passion is film.
One of my favorite albums of all time. And this song just wants to make you kick it
Got to see em on this tour. With The Ramones opening for em. 🤘
