I have a 2022 SR+ in the Red :) i get around 215miles at motorway speeds 70mph. bought used this year for half the vale of a new one. great bargain and while the range is not the best it hasnt been an issue. since going electric i drive more than i did before, mostly because its a 5th of the cost of fuel.
Model 3 is still the best value EV on the market, especially the used ones. People will come and say that they don’t buy Teslas anymore cause Musk has gone crazy, but to me we also need to separate the product from the people who run the company. So if anyone watching has a small budget and wants a good EV get the Model 3. Even the SR will do but I agree with you if I were spending my money I would go for the Long Range.
@ I live in Southern California and I don’t have enough fingers and toes to count the Teslas I see driving the streets on a daily basis. I also own one and wouldn’t trade it for anything else right now. Yeah I might not agree with everything Elon says, but his company makes damn good EVs. For me the car is what matters at the end of the day not the guy who is running the company. Let’s see more of this cold weather Tesla content as we don’t get such temps here in Cali.
Nice video. I haven't fully committed to EVs yet, we have a Seat Mii EV for local trips which has be great (always charged at home) and a Honda Jazz full hybrid for longer trips which drives like an EV but doesn't need to be plugged in. If I was getting another EV it would probably be a used Tesla as they seem to be the best at motorway trips especially with the Supercharger network giving extra reassurance but I think I'll wait for a couple more years yet.
Ok my prediction was way off. 300km is not too bad. Say what you want to say about Teslas but their efficiency even today is still unmatched. I would totally buy a used Tesla, value for money is definitely there. Thanks for this test!

I say the same to people. I enjoy the cars and don’t get into the people argument.
