God forbid the Simpsons have any running gags or clever mechanics now. They even ruined the couch gags making them minutes on end with no actual gag...
@@majorpwner241 they shortened the intro, which was riddled with quick, clever jokes, to make time for the really long couch gags at the end that, while sometimes good, often overstay their welcome.
never understood that. The modern intro literally skips straight from the sky to homer getting plowed through the garage door.
R.I.P. Homer’s brain. He died the way he wanted to die: alcohol.
Homer's Brain: Eat the pudding, Eat the pudding, Eat the pudding, Eat the pudding, Eat the pudding, Eat the pudding, Eat the pudding, Eat the pudding.......Ok, then we gotta get to work 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
The legend of the dog faced woman is one of my favourite lines, my friend and I were in tears the first time we saw that scene, god I miss old simpsons.
7:29 might be the greatest thing ever animated.
2:21 " don't say revenge don't say revenge"
" Revenge"
" All right I'm getting out of here" proceeds to leave
Me: wait how does that work
MY brain: forget it we're too dumb to figure it out
Me: oh yeah
That part with Homer’s brain leaving while Ned goes on and on about apple juice/cider then his blank stare and then collapses,,,just cracked me up so hard!! 😅😂🤣
One of my favourite scenes in The Simpsons.
I don't know why, but the way homer says "My name is mister burns" always crack me up.
0:43 Cosby and perversity has taken on a whole new meaning.
"I guess you could say he's barking up the wrong bush."
*There it is Homer. The smartest thing you've ever said and nobody heard it.*
"D'OH!"
"It's a pornagraphy store. I was buying pornagraphy."
EDIT: WHEW!!! Over 1.4K likes, first time my comment went viral lol! BIG THANKS!!!
*: )* "Heheh... I woulda never thought of that..."
They edited that out when I watched it. Lousy censors
.
@@clowntrooper61 Yeah I don't remember that as a kid
@@LochyP I only noticed just now. But when I listen to the video, it's actually how he pronounces it lol!
“Will you keep it down, I can’t hear myself think!”
*I want some peanuts*
That had me crying lmao
"Cosby's first law of intergenerational perversity" ...well that's aged well
I honestly think the "better to remain silent and be thought a fool" scene is one of the best gags in television history.
6:05 Eat the pudding Eat the pudding Eat the pudding Eat the pudding Eat the pudding Eat the pudding Eat the pudding Eat the pudding
8:37
The moment the Golden Age of the Simpsons ended.
No one took this episode seriously.. It goes against the fighting hellfish story of Skinners father looking exactly like him....
@@itsaguinness Quite the contrary, this episode is significant in that many mark it as the beginning of the show's decline in quality into the hell that is mediocrity, and would never again reach the heights of its former glory.
Even Harry Shearer, the voice of Principal Skinner, recalled that after reading the script, he told the writers, "That's so wrong. You're taking something that an audience has built eight years or nine years of investment in and just tossed it in the trash can for no good reason, for a story we've done before with other characters. It's so arbitrary and gratuitous, and it's disrespectful to the audience."
@@itsaguinness
They did end up making the episode non-canon by having Agnus Skinner being pregnant with Skinner.

It was a great episode. It taught us that the people that we are told to trust are liars and hypocrites, or imposters.
@@giantsr1evait also showed Skinners human side, and how his experience in Vietnam changed him.
“That’s it,I’m outta here”
I swear I tell myself that everyday
"Keep looking shocked, and move slowly toward the cake" I love that one, literally exactly what I'd be thinking if some "shocking" news arrived during a party or night out.
When Bart runs out of Moe's and the event that followed is one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed.
That scream a 3:42!!
Priceless.
That's the definitive one, in my opinion!
Angel O I think you mean 3:43
Heheh :)
I cried T___T hahahaha
The man screams inside his own head, genius
They forgot that one that goes
Homer (out loud): To find Flanders, I just gotta think like Flanders.
Brain: I'm a big four eyed lamo and I wear the same stupid sweater every day!
THE SPRINGFIELD RIVER!
It's disturbing how I remember Homer's dialogue with his brain after all these years.
"You're trapped. If you were smarter you might think of something, but you're _not_ so you just might as well-"
My brain in a nutshell.
'dont say revenge, dont say revenge.'
"revenge" 'that's it,im out of here." 20+ laters still LMAO.
"Did I say that or just think it" creases me up every time!! 😂😂
I gotta think of a lie fast!
“She’s getting impatient, take a stab at it!” 😂😂 We’ve all been there haha
Keep looking shock and move slowly towards the cake.
Awesome. 😂😂😂😂😂
Fher Villamar Me:Laughs
Always laugh out loud at the cider one where his brain chooses to leave to the slide whistle sound.
So many memories, so much laughter. This is making me want to go back and binge-watch the early seasons for the 50th time
My WiFi went out at 5:47 and came back several minutes later to watch the end. It appears my router has a sense of comic timing.
