I love how they all start to play at fighting almost simultaneously.
Cool.
Shows how in sync they were. They were brothers from other mothers.
Cool! 😁
@@kevstacey8639 That’s a good line. I’ll have to remember that one.
It's not staged at all

Irish interviews are so nice and mannerly compared to other Beatles interviews. Kind of makes me more proud to be irish~
I think they like the interviewer and being in Ireland the moment I saw them getting off the plane.
smacg, do you know any available young, pretty, good bodies type of girl?
roger peet wtf
roger peet what the actual heck
@@m.e.d.7997 prolly because theyre all Irish except for Ringo
Paul: we don't get on each others nerves as much as we could.
Beatles start fighting
Paul:were quite friendly.
The beatles always make me laugh. 😄

Paul was so cute at this age.
he was a different height as well

Nicole Cabeytú :(
What do you mean?
@@brersam9473 they lost their mother
Apple Head oh yeah. I’m depressed just thinking about it
I wouldn’t have noticed that. You can see Paul & John look kind of sad, and George felt a little embarrassed to bring it up
Really nice interview compared to the U.S. interviews.
Agreed, i think they felt at home and the Irish press probably put them at ease unlike everyone else, ESPECIALLY the American press, who could be a bunch of idiots and ask redundant, stupid questions..
I think they liked the interviewer and Ireland.
I agree, and I’m American.
They gave some good ones in The US too. I think they were young and innocent and funny.
@@m.e.d.7997 Yes! I do agree the press in America was and still is awful sometimes (and I'm American), but I definitely agree with you!
When George started talking about his mother, look at John and Paul, I feel bad for the two😢
It was something John and Paul had in common
They literally laughed
Georgeは家族愛に恵まれた幸せな子供時代が一番長かった。他の三人は、少年時代におとなびて生きざるを得なかったと思う🤔
Sweet Paul looked so sad when George was talking about his mother.
But these are doubles. Their mothers were perfectly alive.
But you are right, John Halliday and Colin Unwin's mothers died when they were pretty young.
The Beatles we're always like four playful little puppies. Absolutely adorable.
Love, love them

“I designed it”
Ringo what the hell you talking about lol
He was telling the truth but than disguised it with a random funny~ listen closely..
They didn't just happen it was preplanned..

george harrison in a leather jacket seriously does indescribable things to me ... *sigh*
He looks so cute ❤
even their fake fight is so harmonious!!! man
I get sad when I watch this though because I know how it all ended up.
It all ended up as The Beatles being and still the greatest band of all time.
Margaret well everything ends up in someway so no need to be sad
It's fucking sad

Love these old interviews from 1962/1963 around the world.
Their appeal...the sum was definately bigger than the parts.
"Ay listen we're all Irish". Is right.
4:05 Paul and John look straight at one another incredulously, as Ringo comes out with yet another Ringo-ism!
I think a Mac is slang for a condom and rain for something else... So yeah… that explains the reaction

john looks like he just walked off the cover of with the beatles lol
Its not just about being such a very good musician but also having to deal with all these stupid interviews and the same time being able to keep on writing masterpieces. The beatles were HEROES all the way.
Interviews pleased the fans and sold Records and Tickets.
God I love this interview!!
3:43 The media would be all over John for that comment now! :D A public apology would be demanded.
John McGahern what did he mean and why wouldn’t it be allowed today ??
Kristen stewartlover445 He meant it’d be weird if guys were screaming over them because that’d probably mean they were gay for The Beatles. Homosexuality wasn’t publically accepted in the 60’s. Especially not early 60’s before the flower power stuff but even then in the broad social circles it was not something you’d want to admit to the world...
This Bird Has Flown right, makes sense but he said it in a jokingly cute way, not sardonic at all, but then again the snowflakes of today... :/

This shows that they were big already, over there, on the other side of the pond.
IN BRITAIN ?. It was 'Love me do'' that introduced them to Britain, outside the North West . I remember thinking , how odd and different it was, the beat, and harmony's were unusual. So I bought it, still have it and all their Vynil
@@MrDaiseymay Yes..Britain. I live in New England. That is great! I love hearing that perspective. Seems strange that it would sound odd...but I understand. Simple but then kicks in with bluesy vocal. What was on the radio in England just prior to this?

Lennon at 00:25 "We're all Irish.."
I think they all had Irish roots. One biography said that John's original last name was "O'Lainen", Paul's mother was actually Irish Catholic, and George said (in the anthology) that his mother too was from an Irish family.
@@57highland well john, paul and george certainly had irish background (like a lot of people in liverpool do). Ringo we're not really sure about although he may have had a grandmother who may have been irish but we're not certain.
@Nigel Murphy: Thank you. The Anglo-Celtic thing is certainly an interesting topic. It would seem that not all the Celtic people departed Britain after their early battles (around 603 AD?) with the Anglo tribes. Would that be correct? Also, who were the "Strathclyde Britons"?
Lots of people in Liverpool are from Ireland, I’ve never met a white person from Liverpool who hasn’t got Irish roots😂
@@ebonym9902 born in Liverpool to an Irish family, Irish citizen and live in Dublin, Liverpool has around 70 % of Irish decent, the most of any place outside of Ireland.

They get the hair style from the hamburg jazz beatnik art scene, Germans start that hair style and the first to try was original Beatles bass player Stu Sutcliffe.

John, Paul and George look Irish.
In opinion Paul looks Scottish... And McCartney is a Scottish name after all... But John and George are Irish...
@@nikoletttorjay5756 Paul says he is too. Also I think Paul loved the group thing and the friendships they had. He loved being part of the band. Paul's mother was Mary Mohin. She was almost all Irish if not 100%

@@ladyggsmith3261 O'Leaichar (Lennon) the O is dropped due to its anglizization, Harrison is a Wexford name from the Normans (French) Mc Cartney is a Monaghan/Fermanagh surname...as much as they all like Scotland (being Celts) they were definitely Irish in origin...Liverpool being the most Irish city outside of Ireland...I know, born in the city to Irish parents from Clonmel, Tipp.
This must have been right before they came to America.
3:21 is my favorite part haha!!
Over time, the Beatles gave various origins of the "Beatle haircut" issue: one was that it was devised by Stuart Sutcliffe's girlfriend, Astrid Kirchherr; another was that it was devised by an "artsy" German friend of theirs, Juergen, whom they had gotten to know during their time in Hamburg; and yet another was that George invented it accidentally when he came out of the swimming pool one day (presumably after a period of skipping haircuts) and didn't comb his hair and it dried in the "Beatle" cut.
Paul McCartney has in fact confirmed the swimming baths story as true and that he and George kept it that way for a couple of days but eventually capitulated after their peers mercilessly took the p**s out of them.
@Marshall Carwood The varying, differing stories came from the Beatles themselves.
@Marshall Carwood Yes. And the evidence, each time, came from the mouth of a Beatle. (The repeats were not intentional ... I will delete them.)
I haven't made a close and careful study of Beatles history, as you have. But I know I've heard three stories: (1) Astrid did it; (2) "Juergen", an "artsy" German guy, according to Paul, did it; (3) George did it one day when he didn't comb his hair after swimming.
And you must be an extremely fervent Beatles fan, to be so insistently asshole-ish.
Or so your told...
Thanks so much for posting!
