@@markhatton755 do you use rubber inner tubes like the ones on bicycles or anything? I’ve been having bad luck on my e-bike recently and been getting loads of punctures due to tyre pinch and thorns, personally I put it down to modern day thin tyres. I’ve even gone as far to buy armour for the inner tube. Before I spend £4K on a Surron I’d just like to have your review on the tyres inner tubes and how easy it is to take the wheels off/put the wheels on. Thanks
@@borninthewoods4482 yeah so there motor cross inner tubes so a fair bit stronger than a pedal bike tube. And thorns don’t get through the tyres on the surron the rubbers nice and think and again they use 19 inch motor cross tyres. One of my pals had a couple of pinch’s but he used to take pressure out also if you run low pressure on these they do like to rip a valve out me personally I’ve had 1 puncture in about 5k miles and that was a nail fully in my tyre 🤦🏼…… I mean if you have the funds available I’d say just get the Ron the fun you have is unmatched by a pedal bike I used to ride mtb and haven’t looked at my pedal bike since owning the Ron 😂
@@borninthewoods4482 also the wheels are very easy to take on/off the rear is literally and axle bolt and nut 17mm socket (have to do your chain tensioning every time but that’s just 2 10mm spanner’s) the fronts slightly not but ain’t it’s 2 small Allen key bolts either side then an axle bolt….. tbh the whole bikes very easy to work on
