Hey Rahul, go ahead... Uttarakhand is my second home 😍..You can contact the local trek leader , the number is shared in the description..I'm sure you'll have the best time...
Simi so proud of you, everytime you surprise us with a new and offbeat adventure... Speechless is the word.... lots of blessings beta... scale more heights.
Hello Simi, This is Virendra from Bangalore. Very good pace of completing the trek. Nicely done. Also liked your way of doing this: Lean and Mean. Have also noted the details of Travel Company provided in the description. Myself and my wife are also planning to do this in June 2024. BTW have few doubts and need your inputs: 1. How were tents and food arranged? Was it dedicated for you or you guys combined it with some other company? 2. How much were you charged for this trek? 3. Was the travel till Sankri and from Yamnotri to a common place like Dehradun was taken care by Pankaj? Please share your inputs. I also want to follow your way of doing this trek. Kind of fed up going with bigger groups. Thanks
Hello Virendra. Good to hear that you want to do this trek in a similar way. 1. We carried our sleeping bags and one tent for the three of us. We were carrying a bit of snacks too, but meals, we had mostly with other groups( it was pre arranged with them by Pankaj) 2. I don’t remember exactly but it was less than 20k per person. 3. Nikhil and I met in Dehradun and we took a public bus to Sankri, and Pankaj got on the same bus in the middle. We coordinated that and he brought the tent and the sleeping bags with him. So, to give you a little background, we had some more people joining our trek, but due to last minute cancellation, it ended up just being the two of us, and I didn’t want to cancel my plan, so we ended up going like this. I would suggest you talk Pankaj and plan accordingly. You can also DM me on Instagram if you want to know any further information.
@@wayfarersimi Thanks for the prompt and to the point reply. Much appreciated! Carrying one own baggage is indeed the right way to go. Like you, I also want flexibility and speed and would like to engage directly with local chaps. At this moment, I will surely ping pankaj and inform him about our dates and check up about the costs involved. Lets see what he says. As I go about, will indeed bother you for your inputs. Thanks again 🙏🙏
So, Bali pass cross karke jab utarte hai, last day, towards Janki chatti, ek route hai, Yamunotri dham ka, old trail...so, hum gaye the darsham karne ..
@@ShyamYadav-pj9wn you're most welcome...nahi infact short padega...agar ap Yamunotri dham Jate ho Janki Chatti se and back, ye Rasta short padega...so, hum utarte time dham ke darshan karke neeche Janki chatti utar gaye ..thoda sa hi hai, and vaise bhi descent hai...
Hey, So, the descend is not very easy, it is steep and with boulders, that's the reason I couldn't record that , was occupied descending safely, but in June last year, we didn't get much snow on the descend, so it was still easier, I'm sure your guide can assist and don't worry it's not super difficult..Hope you enjoy..Let me know how your trek went...
Bhaiya, mujhe kuch jaroori questions puchne hai. Kindly bata do : Meine 14 july ko plan krlia bali pass, aap mausam ki information dedo. permit konsi jagah hai? Charges kitne hote hai per person? Aur forest department waale jaate hi de deinge kya permit?
Good luck,👍👍👍
