  • WitmerLab at Ohio University joins the Field Museum in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the opening of the "Sue" exhibit by presenting some of our own research on the skull and brain structure of this most famous T.rex (FMNH PR2081). We used the CT scan data collected by the Field Museum to do our studies and to create this video, which was rendered by Ryan Ridgely using Amira and QuickTime. For our published articles involving Sue, visit bit.ly/3wZkwF1. Also visit www.fieldmuseum... and their new Sue site: www.sueescapes..... Check us out on Facebook: / witmerlab

the brain size is adequate enough to do what its designed to do. seek and destroy. Its bigger than a human brain, but brain portion has different functions for a reptile.

I’m pretty sure a human brain is still bigger. A T. rex brain is about the size of a tv remote
