That's not why people dislike vegans. People only really dislike vegans who try to push their lifestyle on others and shame them for not following the same diet. Most people aren't against veganism in general.
I went vegan a couple of years ago. It is a chore at first, learning al the things you can't eat/use and all the mistakes along the way, but I feel healthier than I ever have. It is certainly more a systemic problem than individual, but systems are made up of individuals. Just a few people won't make an impact, but many would. If you chose to go vegan, and that's viable for you, then that's good! But I also don't think you're automatically a bad person if your not vegan. The vegans that annoy me are the ones who treat it like some good Vs evil liberal individualist moral crusade 😾

I think it’s really open minded of you consider going vegan! The planet and animals need more people to make the kind choice. When you choose to consume plant-based alternatives, it’s true you don’t save the animal directly. You do however increase the demand for plant-derived alternatives, while lessening the demand for deceased non-human animals and their lactations.
