Thanks for posting this. Just finished using this tool on my 2010 Altima with TPMS. I bought the kit at Advance auto with no problem. I paid $2.99. Super easy fix for a leaky stem!
I wish I looked into this before spending like $2.00 a week to get air from the gas station and trying to find a replacement tire for the last month. I think this is what my problem is. Very small leak and garage couldn't find any punctures in the tire. I will order this kit and see what happens. Great clear and concise video! Could have bought this kit for the amount of air I paid for already. LOL!
If you happen to have a pair of needle nose pliers nearby you can pinch the pin and turn it clockwise to also tighten or remove these, I thought mine was leaking but all I did was tighten it up and everything was fine after that , worth a shot before spending the couple extra bucks on the tool 🤠
But what if the leak is around the edge of the valve stem, but not the stem itself? I have that problem but when I try to search for as solution all I get is changing the core.
Is the tire deflated at the time of replacing the core? Doesn't look fully deflated on the video. When I remove the core, on an inflated tire, would the air start coming out?
Sir, somehow only my right front and right rear’s valve stem core are shorter compare to left ones after changing new wheels. So it’s very hard to check air pressure with my gauge since valve stem cores are shorter and gauge cannot touch (or push) the core... How can i resolve this issue?!
Gotta admit. The birds made this peaceful regardless of how annoying leaking tires can be

Me too
Did it work?@@speedracer175
Thank you.... I need to do what myself... This is the first time I've had a leaking Schrader Valve Core... wow... Nice video! :D
Great video regarding a simple, but often unknown repair - Just wish your voice didn't hit those high notes ...

@Alexis Kuttner send me the link
Nice.
Thank you.
Do you need to remove the tires to do that?
@@rapbaluyut5778 no , they can stay on the car , you’re just tightening the valve
Thanks so much I'm going to try this hopefully I can do it.
Does it work on cars with TPMS sensors?

Just what I was looking for. 🙌🏾
Fixed mine be tightening it with a micro flat head screw driver.
Do you have to deflate the tire before taking the core out
not necessarily air will just shoot out and you will have to fill to correct pressure again
Do you need to lift the car up or is it safe to do on the ground? And do you need to let all the air out of the tire before replacing the stem core?
You need the air out first , in the video it looks like his tire is pumped up but the car is probably just lifted.
He literally says the air is out and its lifted...lol.
Thank you!
Very helpful, thnx for sharing.
You sound like Saul Goodman Attorney at Law
That's his long-lost brother.

Yes all the air comes out so jack up your car and have a portable air compressor available
Can you tell me where you got them
$2.5 in Walmart
will leaky stem or could leaky stem cause a really slow leak ?
Yes
Mine didn't go as easily stripped out on me
You should have checked for leaks
My man
hello,I am a manufacturer of tire pressure valve nozzles. Do you need to know more about valve nozzles

You ain't fixing anything .. you bought a replacement ..
He bought a replacement… then fixed it with said replacement……
