thank you i have understood clearly
Thank you sir! Ive learned a lot by just watching the animation! I hope you upload more like these 😊 more power to you channel!
He is wrong though. Double action pumps require twice as much force from the motor.
Thank you so much Sir for making concepts easy for us, your struggle behind this animation really worth it!!💘
Animation is not perfect in this video.......but really good 🫡👏👏
Bhai itni mast to animation ha
Please is it possible to make a video on how to manufacture the reciprocating pumps?. I don't mean mean the motor but the pump itself. How each part is installed for efficacy
Insanely good video! Congratulations! Hope the channel give you a lot of success
It's very easy to understand because of you... Sir.
Thank you so much 🙏❤️
absolutely mindboggling animation , now its easy to visualize , thanks a lot

thanks for the explaination. But i have got a question: how do you prevent water to flow out of the cylinder where the piston goes out in the double action pump. can you explain?
It doesnt help if you dont explain how the tightness is done between the hole and the shaft of the piston.
Thank you very much ❤

Anybody know the maximum lift/head of this pump design? Thanks in advance.
The maximum lift or head of a pump refers to the highest point to which the pump can raise water or other liquid. It is typically measured in feet or meters and represents the maximum vertical distance that the pump can move the liquid. This value is determined by the design and specifications of the pump, and can vary depending on factors such as the size and power of the pump, the type of liquid being pumped, and the conditions of the pumping system.

Sorry for my English. I am curious about the cylinder that has a hole for piston's arm, what stop water gets to that hole?
No need to apologize for your English! I understand your question.
In a double-acting reciprocating pump, the cylinder has a hole through which the piston rod (or connecting rod) enters the cylinder. This hole is known as the piston rod gland or stuffing box. The purpose of the piston rod gland is to seal the opening and prevent water from leaking out from the sides of the piston rod as it moves back and forth inside the cylinder.
The piston rod gland is designed with special seals, such as hydraulic seals or packing rings, that tightly fit around the piston rod. These seals create a tight barrier, preventing water from escaping through the gap between the piston rod and the cylinder wall.
Additionally, some double-acting reciprocating pumps use lubrication or a small amount of water as a lubricant to help the piston rod move smoothly within the gland without causing excessive friction or wear. This further helps in reducing the possibility of water leakage.
The proper design and maintenance of the piston rod gland are crucial to ensure an efficient and leak-free operation of the double-acting reciprocating pump. Regular inspection and replacement of the seals, if needed, help maintain the pump's effectiveness and prevent water from leaking out during its operation.

Puissance (kW) = [Couple (Nm)*Vitesse angulaire (rad/s)]/1000
Pour connaître le couple :
Couple (Nm) = (Force) fois (Distance)
Vitesse angulaire = [20 fois 2pi]/60
Vitesse angulaire = environ [40 fois 3,14]/60
Vitesse angulaire = environ 2,09 rad/s
